What is Inside Spain? The Spain we’d show a friend

“Which coast should we choose for a week in June?” “Is this hotel really walkable to the beach?” “Where do locals actually eat in Seville?”

We hear questions like these every day, in English, French, Portuguese, German and Italian. After answering them for years, we realised the best answers were sitting in our heads and inboxes. Inside Spain is where we write them down.

Who we are

Jump2spain is part of the Spanish travel groups Viajes Para Ti and Exqui, which together have more than 20 years of experience selecting and negotiating hotels across Spain.

The team behind this blog works from our office in Reus, on the Costa Daurada. The name may ring a bell: many of you have probably landed at Reus Airport, often listed as “Barcelona-Reus”. We work in customer service, hotel selection, data and people, and part of our job is knowing which hotels really live up to their photos.

Meet the authors

We want you to know exactly who is behind every recommendation, so here is the team. For each of us you’ll see our name, the department we work in and the parts of Spain we know best. Our specialities don’t come from a guidebook: they come from trips we’ve made, places we keep going back to and the questions we answer for travellers every day. When you read an article, you’ll know whose experience you’re getting, and who to ask if you want to know more.

  • Our experiences: trips our team has actually made, told honestly, including what we’d do differently.
  • Holidays & seasons: when to travel, local festivities and Spanish school holidays, so you know when the beaches fill up and when they don’t.

Our promise

Every article is signed by the person who wrote it, with their name and team. No anonymous content. If we recommend a place, it’s because one of us has been there or knows it well. If something isn’t worth it, we’ll tell you that too.
