Quisiera comenzar destacando los aspectos que más he valorado durante nuestra estancia, ya que en términos generales la experiencia ha sido muy positiva.
La ubicación del hotel me ha parecido excelente, especialmente por lo fácil y cómodo que resulta acceder a Avinguda Meritxell y por encontrarse en una zona tan céntrica. También quiero destacar especialmente la amabilidad y profesionalidad del personal, que en todo momento ha mostrado un trato cercano y correcto.
Las instalaciones del hotel me han gustado mucho y, sin duda, uno de los detalles que más he apreciado ha sido el gesto que tuvieron con nuestra perrita a nuestra llegada. Este tipo de detalles marcan la diferencia y hacen que el huésped se sienta realmente bien recibido.
Precisely because the overall experience was good and I consider the hotel to be of an excellent standard, I believe there are a few minor aspects that could be reviewed so the stay matches the establishment’s range.
Firstly, the cleanliness and preparation of the bathroom. On arrival I had to clean the WC bowl and the bidet myself to feel reassured that they were properly sanitised. In addition, there was no toilet brush to perform basic cleaning of the bathroom if needed.
We also found some small issues with replenishment: the shower gel container in the bathtub was empty and, although there were four of us, we only had two hand towels.
Another point that particularly caught my attention happened during breakfast on the second day. When we went downstairs we found numerous glasses and towels on the floor due to a fault that, as far as we could see, had not yet been resolved. I fully understand that incidents and faults can occur in any establishment, but it might be advisable to reinforce the management of these situations to minimise the visual impact and inconvenience to guests.
Finally, I would like to comment on the management of hotel access when coaches with groups arrive. During our stay there were several occasions when police were present nearby and both hotel entrances were blocked or restricted. I understand that when large groups stay, such as football teams, special security and organisational measures are necessary.
However, on several occasions we were stopped when simply trying to access the hotel and told we could not pass, without being asked first whether we were guests. I believe this could be organised in a way that is more convenient for all customers, for example by keeping at least one entrance operational for regular guests and facilitating their identification when necessary.
I fully understand that the presence of these groups requires special logistics, but all guests have chosen and paid for their stay at the hotel, so I think it is important to find a balance between the organisational needs of these events and the comfort of the other customers.
In short, my overall assessment is positive and precisely for that reason I offer these observations constructively. The hotel has a fantastic location, very good facilities and a staff notable for their friendliness. With small adjustments in areas such as cleaning, replenishment of amenities and, especially, the organisation of access in exceptional situations, I believe the experience could be even better.
Precisamente porque la experiencia general ha sido buena y considero que el hotel tiene un nivel excelente, creo que hay algunos pequeños aspectos que podrían revisarse para que la estancia esté a la altura de la categoría del establecimiento.
En primer lugar, la limpieza y preparación del cuarto de baño. Al llegar, tuve que limpiar personalmente la taza del WC y el bidé para quedarme tranquila y asegurarme de que estaban correctamente higienizados. Además, no había cepillo para poder realizar una limpieza básica del baño en caso de necesidad.
También encontramos algunos pequeños fallos en la reposición: el recipiente de gel de ducha de la bañera estaba vacío y, siendo cuatro huéspedes, únicamente disponíamos de dos toallas de mano.
Otro aspecto que me llamó especialmente la atención ocurrió durante el desayuno del segundo día. Al bajar, encontramos numerosos vasos y toallas en el suelo debido a una avería que, por lo que pudimos comprobar, todavía no había sido solucionada. Entiendo perfectamente que pueden producirse incidencias y averías en cualquier establecimiento, pero quizá sería conveniente reforzar la gestión de estas situaciones para minimizar el impacto visual y la incomodidad para los huéspedes.
Por último, quisiera hacer una observación respecto a la gestión de los accesos al hotel cuando llegan autocares con grupos. Durante nuestra estancia, en varias ocasiones había presencia policial en las inmediaciones y ambas entradas del hotel quedaban bloqueadas o restringidas. Entiendo perfectamente que, cuando se alojan grupos importantes, como equipos de fútbol, es necesario establecer medidas especiales de seguridad y organización.
Sin embargo, en varias ocasiones nos pararon cuando simplemente intentábamos acceder al hotel, indicándonos que no podíamos pasar, sin preguntarnos previamente si éramos huéspedes. Considero que podría organizarse de una manera algo más cómoda para todos los clientes, por ejemplo, manteniendo al menos uno de los accesos operativo para los huéspedes habituales y facilitando su identificación cuando sea necesario.
Entiendo perfectamente que la presencia de estos grupos requiere una logística especial, pero todos los huéspedes hemos elegido y pagado nuestra estancia en el hotel, por lo que creo que sería importante encontrar un equilibrio entre las necesidades de organización de estos eventos y la comodidad del resto de clientes.
En definitiva, mi valoración general es positiva y precisamente por ello traslado estas observaciones de manera constructiva. El hotel tiene una ubicación fantástica, unas instalaciones muy buenas y un personal que destaca por su amabilidad. Con pequeños ajustes en aspectos como la limpieza, la reposición de amenities y, especialmente, la organización de los accesos en situaciones excepcionales, considero que la experiencia podría ser todavía mejor.
