Both at the reception and in the dining room we were always attended with kindness and closeness. As for the food, there is not a great variety, but there are delicious dishes, especially at dinner, when there is more elaboration. The hotel pool is located on the rooftop; it is a bit small, but enough to have a nice time and cool off, although the opening hours are very limited and it closes at 6 pm. In short, a good hotel for those looking for a basic and well located accommodation in Puerto de la Cruz, with an excellent staff that makes the difference.

Nos alojamos una semana en el Hotel Marte y, en relación calidad-precio, la experiencia ha sido correcta. Lo mejor, sin duda, es el personal del hotel. Tanto en recepción como en el comedor nos atendieron siempre con amabilidad y cercanía. Queremos destacar especialmente a Adrián y Beatriz, del comedor, que hicieron nuestra estancia mucho más agradable con su atención y simpatía. En cuanto a la comida, no hay gran variedad, pero hay platos ricos, especialmente en las cenas, que son cuando hay más elaboración. La piscina del hotel se encuentra en la azotea; es algo pequeña, pero suficiente para pasar un rato agradable y refrescarse, aúnque el horario es muy limitado y cierra a las 18h. They do not have air conditioning, only a standing fan, which can be uncomfortable, especially if no air enters through the inner courtyard (it was even cooler in the hallway than in the room itself). The cleaning staff does not change the towels, but simply folds them better and hangs them up again. To have them changed, it is necessary to indicate it. The dinner schedule is somewhat limited, as it starts at 18:30 and ends at 21:30, which if you have gone on an excursion, to see the sunset, etc, you arrive just in time.

También queremos mencionar a un chico alto de recepción, cuyo nombre no recordamos, pero que fue encantador y nos atendió con gran amabilidad desde el primer momento. En resumen, hemos estado muy a gusto y nos llevamos un recuerdo muy positivo del Hotel Marte. Es un sitio que ofrece lo que promete y cuida mucho el trato personal, que para nosotros ha sido lo más importante. Gracias una vez más a Beatriz por cuidarnos y hacer de esta estancia una experiencia tan agradable.
