El personal del hotel es muy atento y te ayudan en todo lo que les pidas; al llegar nos invitaron a tomar unas copitas de vino de Oporto en el bar y luego nos dieron unos folletos descuento, con 20%dto para visitar Portugal dos pequeniños ( la entrada adultos cuesta 9,95€) y un 10%dto en comida/cena en el hotel( nosotros cenamos la última noche allí y nos encantó, la comida estaba riquísima, tenian en el menú dos platos elaborados con bacalao, que acompañamos con un vino blanco recomendado por el camarero y terminamos con un postre de productos típicos de Coimbra y nos salió la cena a muy buen precio). Destacaría del hotel sus jardines y sobretodo un rinconcito muy acogedor en el centro del jardín, tiene unos bancos para sentarse bajo la sombra que nosotros aprovechamos un día para improvisar un picnic y poder contemplar toda la ciudad de allí.El hotel dispone de un bus ciudad-hotel/hotel-ciudad con diferentes horarios con lo cual te puedes mover por ciudad sin necesidad de usar coche. Con un par de días son suficientes para visitar Coimbra.
Una piscina en el hotel sería ideal, después de visitar la ciudad nos vendría muy bien un chapuzón refrescante.

Buen hotel, reformado hace poco, falla la Wifi en las habitaciones y abajo va normalita. Tienen canal de pago portugues para ver el fútbol. Yo vi el clásico en el salón. Hace falta bajar en coche, pero hay un aparcamiento gratis. Lo mejor es moverse luego andando, es una ciudad facil con cuestas y barrio histórico muy acogedor. Muy buena comida, Portugal es así. Buena gente. Y el paseo en barco estuvo muy bien. casi 40 minutos en un único viaje a las 16:00.

The hotel,excellent nice quiet location within walking distance of public transport rail and bus. ( I have mobility issues) accommodation high standard but for me the bath was an issue (no grab bars)room spaciousand airy.Staff very helpful excellent service. Meals well presented, excellent in variety .Public rooms clean and tidy particularly enjoyed the library.Public areas loved the tranquility and coolness of the lawns and the 2nd swimming pool. I would stay again.I have recommended this hotel to my friends

I wanted to check in 15 minutes after my booking. At the reception they could not see my booking. It was around 10 pm but the jump2spain helpdesk was available and talked to the reception so i could check in. Which was a really great service.
