9.1 Jesus Travelled with family August 2026 The truth is the place is very nice, and the people who work there are very friendly. The food is different every day, which is really appreciated. Something important: what’s marked as a walkway is to allow you to get down to the centre more quickly and comfortably—just bear that in mind, as we only discovered it on the last day.
The only bad thing was that we asked for the room to be cleaned, so we would have clean towels and a tidy room, but no one came. Also, our bathroom had a leak. It wasn't serious, we reported it for them to have a look, but we don’t know if anyone actually came or not.

6 María José Travelled with couple August 2026 The buffet was pretty good, although when you stay for 8 nights it does get a bit repetitive, but it was good—not abundant and varied, but it wasn’t bad. The staff were very friendly.
The rooms. They put us in a tiny room, with a tiny bathroom that was very badly laid out. We asked to change rooms and the only option was an adapted room. It was bigger but honestly, it wasn’t really adapted. The bathroom didn’t have a mirror, just a tiny magnifying mirror fixed to the wall, and someone in a wheelchair wouldn’t be able to reach it. The water from the shower spilled over so much it reached halfway across the room, and the shower screen wasn’t sealed with silicone so water came out there too — basically, every shower turned into a flood. For me to do my hair and for my husband to shave, we had to go out of the bathroom and use the long mirror in the bedroom. We complained and they came and fitted a sholiday to keep the water from escaping, but since the room was supposed to be adapted, with this 3 cm rubber sholiday, a wheelchair couldn’t get into the shower at all. To get into the bathroom, there was a gap of about 35 cm between the bed and the kitchenette — there’s no way a wheelchair would fit through there either. It was on the ground floor and looked out onto a garden that was actually a ravine; the room was full of ants, spiders, it was like a jungle. Then there were all these little lights, the smoke detector and the emergency exit light, which was a flashing green light. There was one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom, and the instructions sign for emergencies was phosphorescent, so when the lights were off at night, it was like a nightclub, with the flashing green emergency exit light, the smoke detectors flashing, and the A4-sized glowing rules sign. I complained and they put black tape over the emergency exit light and the smoke detector in the bedroom, but not the one in the bathroom. I asked for the sign to be covered but no one came to do it; I had to cover it myself each night with a towel hooked onto the door, and I had to fold it double because the light was so bright it dazzled me. Oh, and there was another red flashing light, which was the auto-lock on the door. The rooms were a mess. There’s a kitchen but no crockery, glasses, not even a single spoon, let alone anything to cook with. If you wanted any kitchenware, you had to pay €25, so in the end you couldn’t actually cook if you wanted to. The hotel is very far from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, so unless you hired a car you were stuck, as the bus didn’t go up there either — it’s in a residential area quite a way from the town. They had been painting and both rooms stank of paint and were stained everywhere: paint on the sockets, the floor, the skirting boards, the shower screen in the first room covered with paint splatters, the terrace floor covered in paint, they’d prepared the paint there without even putting down cardboard, all the tiles on the balcony were covered in it, and in the corridor someone had painted a door and left the whole width of the double door roller-marked onto the floor, with a strong smell of paint right from the corridor. It was very cheap and with just a little care and attention to detail, it wouldn’t be so bad. I won’t be coming back to this hotel, I didn’t enjoy my stay, and sleeping was a nightmare with all those flashing coloured lights — green, red, and phosphorescent.

8.6 Ana Hernández Travelled with family August 2026 We stayed for three days with F. The value for money could not have been better: the food, the facilities, the peaceful setting, the staff’s attentiveness and the service were all excellent considering the modest price we paid, based on our experience with travel and hotels. It was a pity we let ourselves be put off by the negative reviews and didn’t book for more days; when I tried to do so they were already fully booked.

8.6 Eñaut Travelled with couple August 2026 Unbeatable value for money, good location, very good service, and a buffet for meals.
Just to mention something, if you happened to coincide with the cleaning time, they wouldn't come back again that same day, but they do come every day anyway, so I wouldn't consider it a negative point.

2.3 Andrea Travelled with family August 2026 Fortunately the staff are worth it… because otherwise it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life!!!!
The food? If you can call it that… We ended up at the doctor because we became so ill; the hotel manager—“friendly” is not a word that describes her… The location is terrible, the rooms get up to nearly 40°C because there’s no air conditioning, and if you ask for a fan they say they don’t have any… If you want a proper holiday, THIS IS NOT YOUR HOTEL!!! Don’t even think about booking Full Board — you’ll have the same dishes for lunch and dinner, and you’ll end up eating out instead.

It's a 3-star hotel, it's hot and there is no air conditioning — I didn't read that, so that's more my fault.

7.4 Juan Antonio Travelled with couple July 2026 I would improve the issue with towels by the pool: guests reserve sunbeds first thing in the morning with towels, leave all day and only remove them at the end, often without even using the beds, and the lifeguard does nothing. Two days in a row we were left without sunbeds because of the same towels and people. Otherwise, the quality-price ratio is fair.
