In the heart of the Pyrenees, just a few meters from the chairlift that goes up to the ski slopes of Vallnord - Pal Arinsal, stands as a modern mountain and ski hotel, the Ushuaia Mountain Hotel, a fully renovated accommodation. Designed for winter holidays, romantic breaks and active tourism and mountain holidays, the Ushuaia Mountain Hotel is a unique retreat in the Pyrenees.

Opened in December 2018, Ushuaia Mountain Hotel has been designed to offer you the highest quality standards in Andorra. This mountain hotel is located directly on the slopes of the Vallnord - Pal Arinsal ski resort and just a few meters from the Comapedrosa natural park so you can live a complete experience of snow or discovery of nature coupled with the rest, comfort and relaxation of its large rooms and suites.

In order to start the day well, you have available a buffet breakfast where you will find a delicious breakfast with hot and cold dishes, typical sausages of the area, plus juices and coffees; and to regain strength at the end of the day, they also offer a delicious dinner in the same place. During the day, if you feel like having a drink or if you are hungry and want to eat something, they offer you the Off piste bar.

10 km away you will find the town of Andorra la Vella with its wide range of shopping and entertainment.

Es la segunda vez que vamos. El hotel tiene unas instalaciones fabulosas y una ubicación a la entrada del parque natural que es increíble. Fácil de aparcar. Lo malo es la comida ha empeorado muchísimo. Nos gustó la otra vez y ahora es terrible, nada cocinado, todo hervido o la plancha.

Hotel totalmente recomendable. Sí lo tuyo es el ski, aún si cabe, más recomendable, el telesilla está a menos de un minuto. Justo al lado del hotel está el Parque Natural del Comapedrosa. No os puedo decir porqué el tiempo libre lo usemos en hacer otro gran complemento de la reserva que son las excursiones. El guía Oriol te espera en un punto de encuentro próximo a inicio de la salida, en nuestro caso el sábado fue a l'Estany Esbalçat, el domingo una ruta más suave por el Parc Natural de Sorteny. Recomiendo estás excursiones, Oriol te explica tanto de la riqueza natural de la zona, como las posibilidades de explorarlas. En ambas salidas, toda un experiencia gratuita. Volviendo al hotel, el trato del personal es de 11. Son encantadores y te facilitan la información que necesites. La habitación que nos asignaron, era muy grande, estaba compuesta por dos camas individuales y un sofá camas, en todos los casos muy cómodas. Tiene todo lo necesario. Nuestro pack solamente incluía desayuno, creo que debería iniciar más pronto. Si tenías que estár en el punto de encuentro de la excursión a las 9h, y desde el hotel tienes un trayecto de 25-30 minutos, no tienes mucho tiempo para desayunar. Pregúntenos la tarifa para cenar, 29€ adultos y 14€ niños, una familia de 4 personas le cuesta lo mismo la cena que añadir un día extra en su hospedaje, luego es caro, pero es buffet, alternativa comida a la habitación, ahí sí puedes pedir plato y no te sube tanto. Pero claro, si son de comer, la opción buffet lo amortizan. ¿Volveríamos? Sin duda, atención excelente, habitación grande, limpia a pie de un parque nacional, a 20 minutos del centro de Andorra, sin tener líos ni pagar extra por estacionar.
Desayuno podría iniciar un poco más pronto, para llegar con márgen a las excursiones. La opción de buffet nocturno sin contratar es cara, tener alternativas (poder pedir allí platos o carta, puedes pedir pero desde la habitación).
