About the accommodation

The Don Juan Tossa 4* hotel is located in the tourist town of Tossa de Mar, on the Costa Brava. It is located about 150 metres from the Platja Gran.

The accommodation has 24-hour reception, air conditioning and heating (depending on the time of year), wifi connection, indoor car park (check rates at reception), outdoor pool, which is accessed only by escalators (no elevator) and is located in a solarium with sun loungers.

The Don Juan Tossa currently has 195 superior rooms and 13 superior suites. All of them are smoke-free.

  • The superior rooms are fully renovated, designed to give you the rest and comfort you are looking for on your beach holiday. All of them are exterior with balcony, air conditioning, flat screen TV with international channels, telephone, safe, wifi connection, minibar and desk. The bathroom is completely renovated with rain shower, hairdryer and amenities.
  • The superior suites have a separate bedroom with a large double bed or two twin beds and flat-screen TV; a living room with double sofa bed and flat-screen TV; a fully-equipped bathroom with shower or bathtub and hairdryer; and a large terrace with hammocks. In addition, it also has air conditioning, heating, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, Wi-Fi connection, desk, telephone, open closets and safe. Please note that the superior suite is divided into: 32m2 inside and 23m2 outside terrace.

You can visit the ruins of Tossa Castle, as well as go to different beautiful coves in the area such as: Cala Pola or Cala Bona. We also recommend you to go to the towns of Lloret de Mar, Canyelles or Blanes.

At your arrival, the hotel will ask you for a deposit of 30€: they will make a pre-authorization on your credit card. You can use this amount as a deposit to pay for any extra services you consume (drinks, etc.) or you can pay for these services separately, in which case the deposit will be refunded upon your departure.

Perfect hotel, perfect location, good food and animation in the evenings. Close to market, restaurants, see, castle, walking paths. A lot of Halloween decors in the hotel common space and activities! We liked there! Would like to return!

We came from Barcelona for a mini break and were so happy. The room was amazing! I was slighly worried when I saw we were on the first floor with a bar close-by but we heard NOTHING. The balcony was super and it was amazing to see the world walk by. Hardly any cars on the road and no noises from the bar. The room was spacious and all was super clean. The food was super too. A good variation and lots fresh fish and meats next to vegetarian dishes. They really made a fantastic buffet for al to enjoy with daily variations. Lots of fruit/cake/sweets/ creams for dessert if you have any space left. Breakfast was the same with pretty much all nationalities choices of breakfast available. The staff were all lovely. From the girls on the room floor to the reception and from the chefs to the people helping in the dining room. Mercedes (meercellig) was always cheery and wishing us good morning/ evening what makes such a difference. If het Teamleader reads this then I think you should reward her employee of the month with a extra paid day of or something. TIP: bring a beach/pool towel or sheet as they don’t provide these.

Ante todo he de decir que la relación calidad y precio es un 10. El hotel está reformado, muyyyyyyyy limpio, personal muy amable, la comida variada y buena. Incluso los cocinero hacen al momento las carnes y pescados en el momento. Está a escasos metros de la playa, tiene animación muy entregada. Las instalaciones comunes muy buenas y acogedoras. Volvería a repetir aunque con un pequeño pero ( lo explico en aspectos negativos como crítica constructiva).
La habitación que al parecer estaba reformada aunque estaba muy limpia y mantenida, no tiene una cama confortable. El colchón, es nuevo pero de una calidad muy baja que no favorece el descanso. Es una pena, se nota que han invertido en hacer una reforma para mejorar, pero en una cama, sea de la categoría que sea, el colchón es un imprescindible al cual merece la pena prestar atención. De todas formas. no se puede pedir más por el precio que ofrece busco un chollo, pero lo digo para que sea tomada como una crítica constructiva.

El hotel está reformado con mucho gusto, tal como se puede ver en las fotos de la web. Su ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca del paseo, del centro y de la playa. La habitación es muy cómoda. Se agradece el set de cortesía (infusiones, café, chocolatinas y agua). Cabe destacar la limpieza en la habitación y la de todas las instalaciones del hotel. Aunque había mucha gente, no hemos tenido ningún problema de esperas ni en el comedor ni en los ascensores. El personal del hotel es muy agradable (recepción, limpieza, camareros, animadoras, etc.). Desayuno, comida y cena, variados y de buena calidad. Al haber estado en temporada baja, hemos podido aparcar en la calle.
Tuvimos que abrir las puertas de la terraza para poder refrescar un poco la habitación, incluso a la hora de dormir. Hacía mucho calor en la habitación y la bomba de calor estaba programada solo para calefacción, según nos dijeron.
