The GHT Balmes Aparthotel & SPLASH 3* is located in the municipality of Calella, on the Costa del Maresme and province of Barcelona. The beach is only 600 meters away.

Habia bastante tranquilidad, osea no estaba muy lleno, y la piscina infantil a mi hija le encantó.
I would have liked some animation for the little one.

 3.5 Sandra Travelled with family August 2021 The cleanliness, very clean rooms and the rest of the facilities, all very clean. On the other hand, the entertainer (only one guy) very dedicated to everything although the poor guy had to be in everything, both in the pool, in the recreation room and disco. The guy is worth a lot but having few resources makes it a very simple animation.
la limpieza, habitaciones muy limpias y resto de instalaciones. todo muy limpio. Por otra parte, el animador (solo un chico) muy entregado a todo aunque el pobre tenía que estar en todo, tanto en piscina, en la sala de ocio y disco. El chico vale mucho pero al tener pocos recursos hace que sea una animación muy sencilla.
The food was very scarce (same menu morning and evening), little variety and little replenishment. iogurt and fruit sold out within 30min. of the opening of the dining room and not replenished very often. On the prevention for the covid, there were people who lowered their masks in the buffet and they had to go calling their attention but there were no plastic gloves or anything, there everyone took the tweezers without any prevention (minimally disposable plastic gloves). the buffett very crowded. On the other hand, as regards the pool, there were women (I understand that by cultural theme) bathing fully clothed, headscarf included so quite dirty in my opinion, unhygienic for the rest of swimmers. We will not return for sure. I do not recommend it at all.
la comida muy escasa (mismo menú mañana y noche), poca variedad y poca reposición. iogurt y fruta agotada a escasos 30min. de la apertura del comedor y no reponían muy a menudo. Sobre la prevención para el covid, allí había gente que se bajaba la mascarilla en el buffett y les tenian que ir llamando la atención pero no había ni guantes de plastico ni nada, allí todo el mundo cogía las pinzas sin ningún tipo de prevención. (minimamente guantes de plastico de usar y tirar). el buffett muy masificado. Por otra parte, a lo que respecta la piscina, había mujeres (entiendo que por tema cultural) bañándose vestidas completamente, pañuelo en la cabeza incluido por lo que bastante sucio a mi entender, poco higienico para el resto de bañistas. No volveremos seguro. No lo recomiendo para nada.

There was no hanger or shelf in the bathroom for towels. Covid: Some guests were not wearing masks inside the hotel, and this should be controlled. Although this goes without saying. Daily cleaning: The room was not ready until 3 pm.
Que no hubiese ni un colgador, ni estantería en el baño para dejar las toallas. Covid: Algunos clientes, no llevaban mascarilla en el interior del hotel, y eso debería estar controlado. Aunque esto no haría falta ni decirlo. Limpieza diaria:Hasta las 15h no estaba hecha la habitación.

 2.5 Karmele Travelled with family August 2021 The only thing I liked was the splash zone for children in the pool.

The hotel in general is not good at all, in the center of a neighborhood where there is nothing, the rooms are very old, I took my hairdryer and even the light jumped, a lot of mosquitoes, the cleaning is bad, they do the right thing on top, the bathroom had some stains on the floor that were there all week without scrubbing and the sheets more of the same, they did not change them all week. The dining room food very repetitive and bad schedules, very little time for everything, the dining room staff the only one that was worth Eva the rest nothing and above at lunchtime there was a group of people with preference that I do not understand why, they passed them before although you would be waiting. A lot of people being as we are. Very little animation, thank goodness that at least it was a great guy Adilet. The pool was very crowded and the waiters were very unpleasant, and on the last day they moved us to another hotel to spend the night because that one was closed, thank goodness the other hotel was worth it.
El hotel en general no está nada bien, en el centro de un barrio que no hay encima nada, las habitaciones muy antiguas, llevé mi secador de pelo y saltaba hasta la luz, mucho mosquito, la limpieza mal, hacen lo justo por encima, tenía unas manchas el baño en el suelo que se tiraron toda la semana ahí sin fregar y de las sábanas más de lo mismo, no las cambiaron en toda la semana. El comedor la comida muy repetitiva y malos horarios, muy poco tiempo para todo, el personal de comedor la única que valía la pena Eva los demás nada y encima a la hora de comer había un grupo de personas con preferencia que no entiendo el porque, los pasaban antes aunque estarías tú esperando. Muchísima gente estando como estamos. Animación muy escasa, menos mal que por lo menos era un gran chaval Adilet. Mucha aglomeración en la piscina y los camareros muy desagradables.Ah! Y para colmo el último día nos desplazaron a otro hotel hacer noche porque ese lo cerraban, menos mal que el otro hotel valía la pena

The children's pool was very very cold, a pity since we chose this offer because of the children's pool and our little one could not use it, besides it was always empty of children because of the water temperature.
