El personal del hotel ha sido lo mejor, siempre atentos y con actitud super amable. Volveríamos solo por eso y por lo cómodos que nos hemos sentido durante nuestra estancia. El buffet, tanto desayunos y cenas, genial.

La piscina del hotel se encuentra en la azotea; es algo pequeña, pero suficiente para pasar un rato agradable y refrescarse, aúnque el horario es muy limitado y cierra a las 18h.
En resumen, un hotel correcto para quienes buscan un alojamiento básico y bien ubicado en Puerto de la Cruz, con un equipo humano excelente que marca la diferencia.
The rooms are simple and somewhat old-fashioned; they serve their purpose if, as in our case, they are only used for sleeping and showering. They do not have air conditioning, only a standing fan, which can be uncomfortable, especially if no air enters through the inner courtyard (it was even cooler in the hallway than in the room itself).
The cleaning staff does not change the towels, but simply folds them better and hangs them up again. To have them changed, it is necessary to indicate it.
The dinner schedule is somewhat limited, as it starts at 18:30 and ends at 21:30, which if you have gone on an excursion, to see the sunset, etc, you arrive just in time.

La relación calidad-precio nos ha parecido muy correcta. La media pensión es estupenda. Los desayunos son variados y completos, y en las cenas siempre hemos encontrado opciones ricas y suficientes. En la cena, las bebidas se abonan aparte, pero con un coste razonable, nada fuera de lo habitual.
Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. El hotel también dispone de caja fuerte por un pequeño coste diario, aunque en nuestro caso no la utilizamos porque en todo momento nos sentimos seguros.
La ubicación es otro punto fuerte: se puede llegar caminando a supermercados, restaurantes, tiendas, zonas culturales y de ocio.
Uno de los aspectos que más queremos destacar es el trato del personal. Beatriz, junto con los tres chicos que atendían el comedor, siempre nos recibieron con una sonrisa y un trato cercano. También queremos mencionar a un chico alto de recepción, cuyo nombre no recordamos, pero que fue encantador y nos atendió con gran amabilidad desde el primer momento.
En resumen, hemos estado muy a gusto y nos llevamos un recuerdo muy positivo del Hotel Marte. Es un sitio que ofrece lo que promete y cuida mucho el trato personal, que para nosotros ha sido lo más importante.
Gracias una vez más a Beatriz por cuidarnos y hacer de esta estancia una experiencia tan agradable.
