Travelling to Ibiza with your car? Here’s what you need to know
Between 1 June and 30 September 2026, Ibiza has introduced a daily limit on the number of vehicles allowed to circulate and stay on the island: 17,668 vehicles per day.
How does it work and how could it affect your trip?
Your booking does not include vehicle boarding, but you can add it as an extra during the booking process. If you choose this option:
-
once your booking is confirmed, we will ask you for your vehicle details and send them directly to the ferry company.
-
the ferry company will request the vehicle authorisation. Depending on availability, they will confirm whether the Consell d’Eivissa has approved or denied the request. As soon as we receive an update, we will let you know.
-
this authorisation costs €1 per day, but don’t worry, the ferry company covers this fee, so you won’t need to pay anything.
-
electric vehicles and vehicles with ECO or ZERO emissions labels are subject to a specific regulation and are not affected in the same way by the general quota, provided they are correctly accredited.
-
if your vehicle authorisation is denied, you can choose whether to continue with your holiday or cancel your booking.
