Why this destination is a must-visit
Cala Ratjada: postcard-perfect coves, seafaring charm and lively evenings
Located on the easternmost tip of Mallorca, Cala Ratjada combines crystal-clear waters, spectacular beaches and a vibrant atmosphere. On particularly clear days, you can even spot the island of Menorca on the horizon.
What you shouldn't miss:
- Three stunning beaches: Each with its own character. Cala Agulla is a beautiful natural beach surrounded by pine forests and dunes; Cala Gat is a small turquoise cove perfect for snorkelling; and Son Moll offers all the comforts of an urban beach close to the town centre.
- Capdepera Lighthouse: Perched on dramatic cliffs, this 19th-century lighthouse offers some of the most spectacular sunrise views in Mallorca.
- The promenade and fishing port: The beating heart of Cala Ratjada, where traditional fishing boats share the harbour with luxury yachts. In the evening, the seafront comes alive with restaurants, terraces and bars.
- Capdepera Castle: Just a few minutes away, this impressive 14th-century fortress overlooks the coastline and offers fantastic views across the island.
