The rooms were simple — not like the ones in the photos, but perfectly adequate, with a terrace (at least mine had one) and a very comfortable mattress. The food was nothing special — the same every day and with few options. On several occasions we went elsewhere for dinner even though the meal was free. Lloret de Mar is overcrowded and full of teenage tourists; I think most are under 18, but that’s down to the location rather than the hotel. On another note, there’s no free car park nearby — there are two car parks next door that charge about €30 a day, which is outrageous. We had to park 15 minutes from the hotel to avoid paying.

On another note, there’s no free car park nearby — there are two car parks next door that charge about €30 a day, which is outrageous. We had to park 15 minutes from the hotel to avoid paying.
