Why this destination is a must-visit
Relax in Galicia—it’s always a great choice!
Vilaboa, right in the heart of the Rías Baixas region, is the perfect destination for those seeking nature, peaceful landscapes, and great food—all while having everything nearby. Its location is ideal: it’s in the Pontevedra region, halfway between Pontevedra and Vigo, and about 25 km from Sanxenxo.
Here you can enjoy a truly charming setting, from the Salinas do Ulló, an old saltworks complex located next to the estuary, to Lake Castiñeiras, within the Cotorredondo Nature Park—a perfect spot for strolling, breathing fresh air, and unwinding surrounded by greenery.
Plus, Vilaboa is a great starting point for discovering some of the most beautiful spots in the Rías Baixas. You can head to Pontevedra to wander through its historic center, visit Vigo, escape to the beaches of Sanxenxo, or explore charming fishing villages. And, if you like to hike, the Río Maior Mill Trail awaits you with trails, waterfalls, and old traditional mills in the heart of nature.
And of course, being in Galicia, the cuisine is also part of the experience: seafood, Galician empanadas, fresh fish, octopus, and white wines from the Rías Baixas to toast the occasion as it deserves. A peaceful, authentic destination, perfectly situated for a holiday that offers total relaxation.
