The room we were given on arrival had two fans plugged into a power sholiday. The air conditioning didn’t work. We were told there were no available rooms with working air conditioning. The next day they moved us to another room with air conditioning. On the balcony of the room there were three air units from other rooms running. The noise was awful. The breakfast was pathetic.

La ubicación es muy buena, pues está a 5 minutos de la playa y bastante cerca en coche del castillo. Además, los recepcionistas en general han sido muy amables, destacando el que nos hizo el check-in.
On the first day we found a cockroach in the bathroom that we think came out of a hole behind the door. We told the receptionist and her way of dealing with it was to try to kill it and, when she lost sight of it, "cover" the hole with the door's "do not disturb" sign. When we said we were not comfortable with a live cockroach in our room, she told us maintenance would spray insecticide the next day, but that it wasn't possible to change rooms because they were all occupied.
There are other things that could be improved: besides the cockroach, the presence of ants was constant and annoying, and they even invaded one of our meals that we left in the room; the air conditioning had a pipe that drained into a water container on the terrace, which prevented the terrace from being fully closed (in the end we put the container in the room, and it overflowed because it was nearly full when we arrived); the windows do not insulate street noise at all — you can hear almost the same as if they were open; the room had a switch for a supposed central light that wasn't there (the only artificial lights apart from the bathroom were the little lamps); finally, the bathroom had no toilet brush.
