Ferry

Your Mallorca adventure starts on board

Your departure: choose between Barcelona or Valencia. During the booking process, you’ll be able to check the available ferry schedules and select the accommodation option that best suits your trip.

  • We recommend arriving at the port at least 2 hours before departure.
  • Overnight crossing: make the most of the journey by travelling overnight and waking up with the first views of Mallorca at sunrise.
  • Arrival on the island: the ferry arrives in the morning. Please note that hotel check-in will be available from midday onwards.

Information about the ferry company

  • The ferry crossing is usually operated by Trasmed.
  • However, for operational reasons, the route may also be operated by GNV, another company covering the same route.
  • The final ferry operator will be confirmed directly at the port on the day of departure.
  • This will not affect your booking or the services included. The ferry company may simply assign the vessel according to operational needs to ensure the crossing operates smoothly.

When does your board basis start?

  • If you book a meal plan, it will always begin at the accommodation.
  • Please note that meals are not included on the ferry.

Optional extra services

  • During the booking process, you will have the option to add vehicle transport on the ferry for both the outbound and return journeys.

If you're travelling in a cabin...

  • Cabins may have 1 or 2 bunks, depending on the booking’s occupancy; they can accommodate up to 4 people and feature a private bathroom with a shower.
  • The cabin is private, meaning you’ll only share it with the people in your booking.

Cabin Layout:

  • If your booking includes 4 people or fewer, you’ll share a single cabin. * If you’d like to have two cabins, you can contact us here and we’ll check for availability.
  • If there are more than 4 people in your group, multiple cabins will be assigned based on the maximum capacity.

S’Arenal, more than sun and sand

Think you know S’Arenal? Think again. Beyond its famous sunsets and lively atmosphere, this corner of Mallorca hides stories waiting to be discovered.

Did you know…?

  • You’re walking on history: S’Arenal was shaped by stonemasons who extracted the stone used to build Palma Cathedral, a place born from craftsmanship, not tourism.
  • A destination with a twist: Cross a single street and you’re in a different town, the Torrent dels Jueus divides the area between Palma and Llucmajor, two destinations in one.
  • A fisherman’s hideaway: For a more authentic side, Es Calonet offers traditional boats and a peaceful setting, just a short stroll from your hotel.

Mallorca: sun, sea and unforgettable moments

Mallorca is one of the Mediterranean’s most beloved islands, combining turquoise coves, golden-sand beaches, scenic mountain landscapes, charming stone villages, and a vibrant cultural scene. Ideal for families and couples alike, the island invites you to slow down, explore, and enjoy every moment under the sun.

Make sure you visit:

  • Palma de Mallorca’s Old Town: A captivating mix of Gothic architecture, narrow lanes, elegant courtyards, and lively cafés perfect for an afternoon stroll.
  • La Seu Cathedral: The island’s most iconic monument, rising dramatically by the sea with stunning interiors and views.
  • Serra de Tramuntana: A UNESCO-listed mountain range offering breathtaking panoramas, charming viewpoints, and picturesque villages.
  • Valldemossa & Deià: Two of the most beautiful inland villages, known for their stone houses, artistic heritage, and peaceful Mediterranean atmosphere.
  • Cap de Formentor: A dramatic headland with unforgettable viewpoints overlooking cliffs, forests, and the sea.

Beaches we think you’ll like:

  • Cala Mondragó: A protected natural bay with shallow turquoise water, perfect for families.
  • Es Trenc: Often compared to Caribbean beaches thanks to its white sand and calm, clear sea.
  • Cala Llombards: A small cove surrounded by rocky cliffs and perfect for snorkeling.
  • Playa de Muro: A long sandy beach with gentle waves, ideal for children and long seaside walks.
  • Cala Agulla: A scenic beach framed by pine forests and natural dunes.

Family-friendly activities:

  • Palma Aquarium: A highlight for children, with huge tanks, interactive zones, and Mediterranean species.
  • Vintage train to Sóller: A charming wooden train crossing valleys and citrus groves, ideal for a relaxing family excursion.
  • Boat trip along the coast: Great for spotting hidden coves and enjoying the island from the water.
  • Cuevas del Drach: Fascinating underground caves with a large subterranean lake.
  • Easy hikes in the Tramuntana: Well-signposted routes suitable for beginners and families.

Make sure you try these local delicacies:

  • Ensaimada: Mallorca’s iconic sweet pastry, perfect for breakfast or a mid-afternoon treat.
  • Sobrassada: A soft, slightly spicy cured sausage traditionally spread on bread.
  • Tumbet: A local vegetable dish similar to ratatouille, full of Mediterranean flavours.
  • Arroz brut: A comforting, spiced rice dish prepared with meat and vegetables.
  • Fresh seafood: Especially local fish like “raor” or grilled sardines.

Make the most of your visit and go to ...

  • Sóller & Port de Sóller: A perfect day trip combining mountain scenery, orange groves, and a beautiful seaside promenade.
  • Alcúdia Old Town: A charming medieval walled town with cobbled streets, traditional markets, and Roman ruins nearby.
  • Cabrera National Park: Take a boat tour to this protected archipelago with untouched landscapes and crystal-clear waters.
  • Pollensa: Ideal for culture lovers, with its historic square, art galleries, and the iconic 365 Calvari Steps.
  • Port d’Andratx: A scenic harbour town perfect for a relaxing walk and waterfront dining.

Great hotel to stay if You travel on budget. Decent size, clean rooms, food was good - didn't expect anything fantastic for this price , there was always something You can eat - meat , fish and plenty of vegetable options Staff very polite and helpful
There is no parking, streets around the hotel are always full of parked cars, but that's not for hotel to blame
Fabulous
8.3 Nur Travelled with family August 2026 The staff at both reception and the dining room were great, and the food was very good.
If they improve the rooms, the hotel would be perfect.

Superb
7.6 Juan Manuel Travelled with family August 2026 The hotel is perfectly adequate. Water for showering was quite scarce and some days there was no water at all — I suppose due to the area being quite old. The neighbourhood can even feel scary to walk around, and there is no car park. If you just want a base to sleep and then explore Mallorca, it’s fine; if you can’t get around, good luck.
More water for personal hygiene would be useful, and having a car park space would be ideal. I don't understand why in All-Inclusive the coffee is from a vending machine, and if you want an espresso from the machine you have to pay extra.

7.1 Yolanda Travelled with family August 2026 Proximity to the beach, cleanliness and good food
La cercanía a la playa y limpieza la comida buena
I chose the All-Inclusive option and it wasn’t that at all. Only beer or wine was included, limited to three per meal. At the bar the All-Inclusive also only applied to beer and wine during meal times, with a maximum of three per meal; no other alcoholic drinks were included. Tiny pool. The desserts and machine juices were awful.

3.6 Ivan Travelled with family August 2026 All the hotel staff were very friendly, and the beach was just 2 minutes away.
The food had very little variety, and you have to pay for a balcony — it’s a rip-off. The terrace only had 50 out of 120 people, so two people couldn’t even sit down for a drink. The rooms had pipes that smelled at night, the bathroom tap had no water pressure, and the room for three people was very small. The air conditioning was terrible, at night it was really hot.

Disappointing
4.3 Marta Travelled with  friends August 2026 Mostly friendly staff and close to the beach, but in an area with very bad smells from a nearby canal.
It’s a complete rip-off: the All-Inclusive only covers meals with drinks included and, for alcohol, it’s limited to three draught beers or three glasses of wine — and only during lunch or dinner. The rest of the day you have to pay for everything except drinks from the machines. Not even any snacks included: a small pastry in the morning and a sandwich in the afternoon outside dining-room hours, but not even peanuts or crisps to accompany them. As I said, a SCAM.

7.4 Raquel Travelled with  friends August 2026 The location was good, but there is no car park in the area if you travel by car.
The food is poor, very repetitive and of low quality. The cleaning of the rooms is rather patchy — the floors, in particular, are not cleaned. The beds are only made for you.

5.3 Hamza Travelled with couple August 2026 I enjoyed the location, though not the people.
Ironing service, lifts, food, All-Inclusive and the paid vending-machine coffee, plus a few other things. Ten days, during which I had to replace my own soap after requesting it twice from housekeeping, provide my own toilet paper, and the terrace wasn’t cleaned.

Pleasant
5.1 Raquel Travelled with couple August 2026 The hotel offered good value for money. The cleanliness was terrible — in fact they serviced our room twice and both times it was done poorly. The food, although similar every day, was tasty; congratulations to the chef. The all-inclusive was awful: at first they didn’t explain how it worked, and secondly the drinking hours for alcohol were restrictive — we’re not foreigners and know how to behave. Having to climb the stairs one step at a time and not being told that the café is on the first floor was frustrating, and the pool was the worst part of my stay. Of the hotel staff only one person stood out: a blonde woman in the dining room who looked after everyone very well and was delightful — with her nothing was lacking. And the worst thing was being left without water for a fairly long time and receiving no explanation.

7.4 Luis Travelled with family July 2026 Clean, partly renovated hotel. The dining staff were very friendly. Buffet food was good quality although there was limited variety.
The air conditioning in the rooms doesn’t cool well, especially on the hottest days. The room is very small. Also, charging a €1 deposit for each plastic cup at the bar for tap drinks and water cups is disappointing.

5 Lorena Travelled with  friends July 2026 The only good thing is that it’s close to the beach.
The rooms are very small, the buffet food is terrible and it isn’t Spanish cuisine. The staff’s attitude was mostly fine except for a short-haired woman with what looked like grey hair — we asked her to clear a table and after reminding her three times she answered with a bad tone and was very rude before finally doing it; I understand it can be stressful but guests shouldn’t have to bear the brunt of it. The neighbourhood is a bit scary to be honest; it’s quite dirty and I’d even say somewhat unsafe. Honestly, find another hotel because for a little more you’ll enjoy yourself much more. Also, the All-Inclusive consists of soft drinks from a machine and the pastries and other items they leave out are just leftovers from the meals.
