How does the ferry journey work? Everything you need to know
With this offer, travel by ferry with departure from Barcelona. During the crossing, you will travel comfortably in a seat.
Important ferry information
- The outbound journey is overnight: you board in the evening, spend the first night on the ferry and arrive on the island in the morning.
- Check-in at the accommodation is at midday. Until then, you won’t have access to your room or resting areas, so please plan accordingly.
- You can check the approximate ferry schedules during the booking process.
- For both outbound and return journeys, we recommend arriving at the port at least 2 hours before departure.
- Along with your travel documents, you’ll receive full details of the departure and arrival ports.
- No meals are included during the ferry crossing.

- During the booking process, you can add vehicle transport on the ferry for both the outbound and return journeys.
How does the meal plan work at the accommodation?
- Any meal plan booked always starts at the accommodation, never on the ferry.
- The start of meals depends on the option you choose:
- Bed and Breakfast: starts with breakfast the following day.
- Half Board: starts with dinner on the first day.
- Full Board: starts with lunch on the first day.

How to Make a Booking
Reservation details
When making your booking, enter the first and last names of all travellers exactly as shown on their official ID. This is essential to ensure your travel documents are issued correctly and without delays.
What do you need to travel?
If you are a Spanish national:
- Carry a valid national ID card (DNI) throughout the entire trip. It must remain valid for the duration of your stay.
- Travelling with children? Children under 14 may travel without a DNI, but you must present a birth certificate or family book.
If you have another nationality:
- Contact your embassy and the embassy of the destination country to confirm the required travel documents. Please note that the NIE is not valid for travel.
- Start this process early, as some procedures may take time.
How does the documentation work?
You will receive your final travel documents by email up to 48 hours before departure. Printing them is mandatory.
At the port, present the printed documents together with the ID of all passengers. Without these documents, boarding will not be permitted.
