A swimming cap and flip-flops are required to access the spa. If you don't have a towel, one will be provided, along with a bathrobe.

Travelling with children? Children under 12 can access the spa from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, as long as they're accompanied by an adult.

Welcome to the capital of the municipality of Onís! At the foot of the western massif of the Picos de Europa, Benia de Onís is a peaceful Asturian village where the pastoral atmosphere and traditional livestock farming of the eastern mountains remain very much alive.
What you can’t miss:
- The kingdom of Gamonéu cheese: Benia de Onís is the heart of production for the famous Gamonéu del Puerto and Gamonéu de la Majada cheeses, two of the world’s most highly regarded smoked blue cheeses. Every October, the village celebrates its hugely popular Gamonéu Cheese Festival.
- Glacial Fauna Interpretation Centre: Discover a unique museum space showcasing the remains of the megafauna that inhabited these mountains during the last ice age, including mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses and cave bears.
- Church of Santa Eulalia: Visit this historic 15th-century church, with Gothic features and a distinctive bell tower that blends beautifully into the village’s traditional rural architecture.
- Trail to the Majada de Belbín and the Covadonga Lakes: Follow the trails and paths that climb from the surroundings of Onís towards the traditional mountain pastures, where shepherds continue to make cheese using time-honoured methods during the summer.
- Active and nature tourism: Its location in the Güeña River valley makes Benia de Onís an ideal base for hiking, spotting birds of prey and exploring routes towards the Arnodio Pass or the neighbouring municipality of Cangas de Onís.
Our recommendation: To taste authentic Gamonéu cheese with Protected Designation of Origin alongside a good glass of natural cider, visit one of the local cider bars or cheese shops. Order the “del Puerto” variety and you’ll be trying the most exclusive version, produced exclusively in high-mountain sheep pens.

Precio muy competitivo y hotel excelente, parking gratuito dentro del hotel o al lado, en un entorno muy bonito y que permite realizar muchas actividades y conocer sitios (Bulnes, Covadonga, Arenas de Cabrales, Ribadesella, Cangas de Onis...rutas para andar, bici...). Spa cumple la función perfectamente, y aunque no he usado otros servicios, ofrecen masajes, tratamientos....He ido Incluido el desayuno, con mucha variedad, zumo natural, personal haciendo tortitas y tortillas......Con la oferta tenía también acceso al spa, si pueden te alojan en el mismo edifico donde está el spa, para hacerlo más cómodo, si bien los otros edificios de habitaciones están contiguos. Ofrecen posibilidad de comer o cenar (cena bajo reserva).Atención del personal muy bueno. Ofrecen actividades como descenso del Sella.
Enfrente del hotel restaurante El Moreno, se come muy bien de menú y carta.
