  • Marmolejo is a picturesque village in the region of La Campiña, in Jaén, surrounded by two impressive natural parks: the Sierra de Andújar and the Sierra de Cardeña y Montoro, which offer a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking and adventure sports.
  • Its historic center, with monuments such as the Aragonese Tower and the Renaissance Bridge, perfectly complements its natural attraction, making Marmolejo an ideal destination for nature and history lovers.
  • The local culture is reflected in its festivals and traditions. The patron saint fairs of San Julián, in August, are one of the most important celebrations, with music, dances and religious events. Also noteworthy are thepilgrimage of the Virgen de la Cabeza, which attracts thousands of pilgrims every April, and other festivities such as the Fiesta de la Candelaria and the feast of San Blas.
  • Marmolejo's gastronomy is a feast of traditional flavors. From the refreshing"cascaflote" (a mixture of gazpacho and salmorejo), to the delicious"ensaladilla de pimientos coloraos asados", the"potaje de berenjenas" and the sweet"panecillos con leche y canela"****, each dish is an explosion of local tradition, especially during the festivities.
  • Did you know that in Marmolejo they still make furniture by hand with traditional techniques, using woods such as beech and chestnut? It is the perfect place to get a unique and authentic touch for your home!
