¡Una grata sorpresa en el Hotel Mercury by ALEGRIA! Muy recomendable
Estuve 2 días de vacaciones con mi hija en el Hotel Mercury by ALEGRIA, y aunque al principio tenía dudas por las valoraciones negativas que había leído, decidí reservar porque era lo que me podía permitir. ¡Y qué buena sorpresa nos llevamos!
A pesar de la corta estancia, todo fue mucho mejor de lo que esperaba: la habitación limpia y cómoda, la comida muy rica y variada, el personal súper amable y atento, y la piscina ideal para relajarse y disfrutar. Nos sentimos muy a gusto en todo momento.
Por el precio que tiene, de verdad que no se puede pedir más. Superó mis expectativas y me alegra no haberme dejado llevar por los comentarios negativos. Lo recomiendo totalmente y volveré sin dudarlo.

We did not have air conditioning for the 2 nights, which is unacceptable with the heat. It is running but no cold air is coming out, I think it's a thermostat issue. I am expecting compensation as it was my daughter's birthday. Very disappointed for a first experience. If nothing changes, I will contact my legal protection.

Está a 2 min de la playa.
The buffet is of very low quality and the variety is limited. Freshly made (grilled), you have the option of meat or fish, both very dry. On the other hand, you could enter the buffet until 21:30h but from 9:20 pm or even a little earlier, they do not serve more pizza and if you hurry, neither pasta. The bread for dinner is what is left over from breakfast, it becomes as hard as a rock. The refrigerator in the room was unplugged. We plugged it in and it didn't cool anything. The phone in the room to contact reception was not working. We called from our phone and nobody answered either. They did not change our towels from one day to the next. They give you the option to online check-in a few days before arriving so you don't have to wait or queue, but we still had to do it there. At reception, they told us it hadn't been saved. They do not have car park. The solution they give you is a sand car park lot on the other side of the train tracks or to park on the promenade. I highly doubt that this hotel lives up to the 4 stars as indicated. I would not return.
El buffet es de muy baja calidad y la variedad es limitada. Recién hecho (plancha) tienes la opción de carne o pescado ambos muy secos. Por otro lado podías entrar al buffet hasta las 21:30h pero desde las 21:20h o incluso un poco antes, no sirven mas pizza y si apuras pasta tampoco.
El pan de las cenas es el que sobra en el desayuno, se queda como una piedra.
La nevera de la habitación estaba desenchufada. La enchufamos y no enfriaba nada.
El teléfono de la habitación para contactar con recepción estaba sin linea. Llamábamos desde nuestro teléfono y tampoco contestaba nadie.
No nos cambiaron las toallas de un día para el otro.
Te dan la opción de hacer el check-in online unos días antes de llegar para no tener que esperar ni hacer colas, aún así lo tuvimos que volver a hacer allí. En recepción nos dijeron que no se había guardado.
No tienen parking. La solución que te dan es un parking de arena al otro lado de las vías del tren o bien que aparcar en el paseo marítimo.
Dudo mucho que este hotel esté a la altura de 4 estrellas como indican. No volvería.
