The Lighthouse: more than a guide for ships The Calella Lighthouse is the city’s most iconic landmark. It was inaugurated in 1859 and its light originally ran on olive oil. Why are locals called “Llops” (Wolves)? The people of Calella are affectionately known as llops (wolves). According to local legend, many years ago a very large, shaggy dog frightened the townspeople, who believed it was a wolf. Information on single rooms and family discounts
- Babies aged 0 to 1 year: they can stay FREE when sharing a bed with 2 adults or 2 people paying the adult rate.
- This option is only available in double and triple rooms.
- Children aged 2 to 11: the first child stays FREE from May 23 to June 20 and from September 5 to October 5 . In the case of ALL INCLUSIVE travel, the child will pay 14€ per day.
- For the remaining dates: the first and second children receive a 50% discount.
Important: Discounts for children apply on condition that they sleep in the same room as 2 adults or 2 people paying the adult rate.
- Maximum room capacity is 4 people. We'll tell you more!
- Travelling with children? The maximum capacity is 2adults+2 children per room.
- Are you all adults? The maximum capacity is 4 adults per room.
The accommodation does not accept a 5th person in the same room, whether adult, child or baby.
- Would you like to book a single room? The price of a single room is the same as the total price of a double room. This accommodation does not offer discounts for single rooms.
Pet Policy
This accommodation allows pets with the following conditions:
- Pets are allowed in the hotel: from May 22 to September 12, 2026. Outside these dates the hotel does not accept pets.
- Price: from 01/07 to 31/08 16 € per night and pet. For the rest of the dates the price per night and pet is 13 €.
- Maximum weight: No weight limit!
- Please let the accommodation know in advance that you will be travelling with a pet. A maximum of one pet can sleep in each room. Pets are only allowed in the room, except when the cleaning staff is doing their chores. Pets are not allowed in the main areas (reception, dining room, swimming pool, lounge, etc.), only to access the room or to leave the hotel, and must be leashed. The day of check-out you must leave the hotel at 10:00h because pets are not allowed in the main areas.
- The pet may not use the bathroom or the bathtub/shower to relieve itself; and it is not allowed to use hotel towels or sheets for grooming. The pet is not allowed to climb on the beds. In case of an accident with another animal or a person, the hotel will not be held responsible for legal purposes.
Tourism tax
The tourism tax isn't included in the booking price, as it's mandatory to pay this tax directly at the hotel reception. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from this tax.

Every year we go to Bon Repos, we like it a lot but, to be honest, the cleanliness in the rooms, the area around the pool, is lacking; most of the sunbeds are broken, and this year the buffet is scarce, with little food.

My experience at this hotel has been very disappointing. The room we were allocated was in a poor state of cleanliness, with visibly worn furnishings and curtains, and an old bathroom that also gave the impression of a lack of maintenance and hygiene.
One of the most negative aspects was the lack of control over the enforcement of the house rules. During our stay there were guests who smoked in areas where it apparently wasn’t allowed, used mats in areas where they were prohibited, and turned music up loudly with speakers, causing constant disturbance.
In the dining room we also observed uncivil behaviours, such as food waste and attitudes that made it difficult for other guests to enjoy the service normally. The overall impression was that the staff did not intervene enough to ensure compliance with the rules and the well-being of all guests.
In short, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance and control of basic cohabitation rules meant that our stay was far from what we expected. Personally, I would not stay again at this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone seeking rest and tranquillity.
Mi experiencia en este hotel ha sido muy decepcionante. La habitación que nos asignaron presentaba un estado de limpieza deficiente, con mobiliario y cortinas visiblemente deteriorados y un baño antiguo que también daba sensación de falta de mantenimiento e higiene.
Uno de los aspectos más negativos fue la falta de control sobre el cumplimiento de las normas de convivencia. Durante nuestra estancia hubo huéspedes que fumaban en zonas donde aparentemente no estaba permitido, utilizaban colchonetas en áreas donde estaban prohibidas y ponían música a un volumen muy elevado mediante altavoces, generando molestias constantes.
En el comedor también observamos comportamientos incívicos, como el desperdicio de comida y actitudes que dificultaban que otros clientes pudieran disfrutar del servicio con normalidad. La sensación general fue que el personal no intervenía lo suficiente para garantizar el respeto de las normas y el bienestar de todos los huéspedes.
En definitiva, la falta de limpieza, mantenimiento y control de las normas básicas de convivencia hizo que nuestra estancia estuviera muy lejos de lo que esperábamos. Personalmente, no volvería a alojarme en este hotel ni lo recomendaría a quienes busquen descanso y tranquilidad.
