Here's what our holiday experts recommend when you visit Jerez de la Frontera:

Family friendly activities:

6.6 Paula Travelled with  friends September 2024 the hotel was centrally located and within easy walking distance to all sites
The first night we arrived late and when we wanted to take a shower, the hairdryer did not work, the bathroom sink was clogged and the air conditioner was leaking. We were moved to a different room, in the next room the hairdryer, air and sink were working fine, but the toilet flush would not flush and we had to flush it with water from the shower.

3.1 Eva Travelled with couple August 2024 The location without more !
La ubicación sin mas !
Haber regarding go reading comments about this site , we entered with enough fear ..... yet we spent 3 days , which we were only sleeping and showering .... Sincerely this site needs a huge improvement, the walls are deteriorated as the rest of the accommodation, The courtyard looked like a rat's nest without more .... Everything super dirty corners , elevators , railings , rooms, EVERYTHING !!!! I don't know how buscounchollo is able to offer this kind of trips, because they leave the level very low! Well if someone thinks of going ..... do not open the windows the aroma of the hotel is roasted bell pepper air freshener .... And then try to find a laundry and clean your clothes I recommend it !!! !!! Bon voyage ! And don't go if it is not very precise

7.7 Mabel Travelled with family July 2024 The staff was charming and the location was very good
The window of our room (001) overlooked the kitchen and the garage exit. Luckily there were not many vehicle exits but we still could not open the windows because we were in the kitchen (see photo). The sink was clogged and the bathroom exhaust fan was not working either.

3.1 Manuel July 2024 The location is unbeatable, the surroundings monumental and the restoration of the bars and tabancos of the surroundings quite good.
The rooms are lousy and the furnishings disastrous, for example: The paint on the walls and ceilings is an absolute disaster, full of dampness and with roller stains, brush strokes and drips everywhere. When opening the closets the smell is unbearable, we decided to leave all the clothes in the suitcase to prevent the smell from spreading throughout the room. Basic furniture was missing (only one small table for two users). The noisiest air conditioner I have ever seen in my life, it sounded like a diesel engine with a washing machine spinning. The baseboards in the room were peeling and debris in places. The couches looked like they had been salvaged from a landfill (literally). The bathrooms were stained and damp in the shower areas. The shower screen was incomplete so water was running out of the shower creating a large puddle on the floor. One of the rooms was on the fifth floor, where the elevator does not reach and located between the elevator machine room and a group of air conditioners, noisier impossible. A multitude of small red ants crawling over the furniture in the room. Emergency signs on the floor. Regarding the common areas and services: The carpets in the corridors are full of stains and balls of hair and lint. The orange juice from the orange juice machine looked like a radioactive yellow fluid (we decided to go out for breakfast outside the hotel despite being included). The smell of fried food and cooking spread throughout the hotel, including the rooms since the kitchen ventilation is open to the hall. The "solarium" consists of a set of dirty and broken sun loungers that you can't even get close to without catching something. It's scary. There were people lying on the sofas in the hall. About the surroundings: Although it is in a very central, monumental and charming setting, Corredera street, where Hotel Trafalgar is located is full of urine and animal feces, some of them "two-legged". It is a shame that one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia allows its citizens and visitors have to go exquvando the ... and you can not walk without taking your eyes off the ground. The smell is disgusting. We have been three days and the excrements have remained in the same place all the time, so I suspect that the cleaning services have not been there.
