Destination

  • If you’re going on a family holiday to Platja d’Aro, you’ll be happy to know that it’s very close to Aquadiver Water Park. There are also two other parks with zip lines, swings, hanging bridges and the closest one is Platja d’Aro Adventure Park.

  • The main beach is called Platja Gran, perfect if you want to be close to your hotel and fancy taking part in water sports like jets skis or kayak with the kids. If you want to go to smaller and less-crowded beaches, on each side of the main beach there are loads of little cove beaches. Our favourite is Cala del Pí.

  • As for nightlife, Platja d’Aro has a great selection of options. The promenade is full of restaurants and chillout beach bars where you can enjoy a cocktail whilst watching the sunset. If you want to go clubbing, all you have to do is head a couple of streets behind the promenade and you’ll find a main road with loads of nightclubs.

Information regarding Single Rooms and Family Discounts

  • Babies from 0 to 1: the first one stays free of charge sharing bed with two adults in double, triple and quadruple rooms. In case you want to travel with 2 babies in the same room, please contact us here so we can check if it is possible.

General discounts:

  • Children from 2 to 10 years old: the 1st and 2nd with a 50% discount.

Good to know: Discounts for children apply as long as they sleep in the same room with 2 adults or 2 people paying the adult rate.

  • Maximum room capacity is 4 people + one baby per room. Please remember! The accommodation does not admit a 5th place in the same room, either adult or child.

  • Single occupancy surcharge: 100%, i.e. the same price as for two people in a double room.

Tourism tax

The tourism tax isn't included in the booking price, as it's mandatory to pay this tax directly at the hotel reception. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from this tax.

About the accommodation

The Aparthotel Comtat Sant Jordi 3 * is located in the tourist town of Platja d'Aro, surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava. It is just 200 meters from the Bella Dona cove and the famous Camino de Ronda and 900 meters from the center.

The accommodation has 24 hour reception, air conditioning and heating, wifi, bar-cafeteria, restaurant, children's area and entertainment for the summer season and outdoor car park for a fee.

In summer season you can take the opportunity to sunbathe and take a dip in the outdoor pool , also has a children's pool, so that children also have a great time, great!

The apartments have one or two double rooms (depending on occupancy) with a double bed or two single beds, living room with sofa bed, kitchen with ceramic hob, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, utensils and utensils. They also have telephone, safe (for a fee), television, air conditioning, heating and fully-equipped bathroom with bathtub (except for the adapted rooms, which have a shower). In addition, all apartments have a balcony or terrace :)

Enjoy the beautiful Costa Brava! :) And let yourself be carried away by some tourist and nearby towns in the area such as Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Sant Antoni de Calonge and Palamós.
