Right in the heart of Comarruga, a thermal spring flows directly into the beach. Its water emerges at a constant 18–21°C all year round and is rich in mineral salts. Best of all, it’s public — you can bathe in the Riuet for free, even in winter. -

In the early 20th century, Comarruga was an exclusive health destination. A grand spa attracted Barcelona’s bourgeoisie, drawn by waters said to be miraculous for skin and joint conditions. -
Pau Casals’ Mediterranean refuge
World-famous cellist Pau Casals chose nearby Sant Salvador as his summer retreat. Today, his seafront home is a museum that reflects how the light and sound of this coastline inspired his music. -

Hotel ubicado en primera línea de playa. Hemos estado 2 dias con media pensión. Desayuno bufete abundante y cena con variedad. Los colchones muy cómodos, estábamos en la parte reformada del hotel.

La comida sin tener un surtido muy extenso era bastante variada y siempre tenían una carne y un pescado para hacer a la plancha en el momento... igual que en el desayuno con la tortilla/huevos.
We had a room with sea views. They gave it to us on the top floor, the fifth, perfect for the highest horizon... but the railings were coloured glass that block the sea view if you’re sitting down. Do not take the fifth floor.
