The Hotel Suites Albayzín del Mar 4* is located in Almuñécar, on the southernmost tip of Europe, on the Costa Tropical in Andalusia.
This hotel has a 7-story building and has a total of 72 suites. It has a 24-hour reception, so that you can be attended whenever you need it, free wifi, air conditioning and heating, as well as an indoor car park (fee).
This accommodation has a restaurant, where you can taste signature cuisine and traditional Andalusian cuisine, as well as a pub with an exclusive decoration and a great selection of music, ideal for a drink and unwind ;-)
You can enjoy a game of billiards or ping-pong, and there is also a reading room. The gardens of the hotel are in the Costa Tropical, they are of Andalusian Arabic style and have waterfalls, bridges and grottos that communicate with the swimming pool, great!

This pleasant hotel is located in the leisure area of Almuñécar, just a few minutes from the city center. There is a public transport stop about 500 meters from the hotel ;-)
If you want to enjoy a swim in the blue waters of the sea, just 500 meters away is the beautiful and attractive beach of San Cristobal. The center, which is worth a visit, is just a few minutes walk away, also half a kilometer.
In the surrounding area, about 100 meters away, there is a wide range of stores and businesses, as well as numerous restaurants, several bars, pubs, cafes (800 meters) and a large number of leisure and entertainment venues. Granada and Sierra Nevada are 80 kilometers away.

Very good location, as we were not looking for a beach. The hotel is nice and the rooms are comfortable

The breakfast is quite basic. And to have breakfast you have to go down 2 flights of stairs.

It said there was a minidisco and when it was time to go, the monitor was not there and the children were watching a movie. We arrived early because we didn't know it and we were walking around the area, so we called and the receptionist was very uncomprehending and told us that the rooms would not be available until 3 o'clock, they gave us the room at 4 o'clock after a long wait.

The buffet is small but of good quality, the food was very tasty.
The location of the hotel very close to the center and the beach.

The facilities an arranged everything that is most visible, has details, very old, such as bathrooms, kitchens and appliances in the apartments, are that, an apartment not a suite, no TV bedroom, only in the dining room.

The only downside, the mattresses. They were quite worn out, they sank and caused bad sleep.
