Islantilla is a fascinating destination because it is not exactly a town, but a mancomunidad, a unique shared area created in the 1990s that successfully brought together the municipalities of Lepe and Isla Cristina.

Europe’s longest urban zip line
If you are after a shot of adrenaline, Islantilla Zip Line is the place to start. This is no ordinary zip line: it follows an urban route and crosses part of El Camaleón Park. It stretches for 325 metres with a 15% slope. Flying above it all with views of the Atlantic is simply unforgettable.
El Camaleón Park
The park takes its name from one of the few places where the common chameleon still lives freely in the wild. It is a shy creature, but if you stroll quietly along the pine-lined paths, you might just enjoy a truly prehistoric encounter.
A destination made for cinema lovers
Islantilla has its own International Film Festival Under the Moon. Throughout the summer, films are shown outdoors in a setting full of atmosphere. It is one of the longest-running festivals in Spain, lasting two months, and there is something truly special about watching a film with the sea breeze in the background.
Golf paradise, with sea views close at hand
Its 27-hole golf course was the first in Huelva and has hosted European Tour tournaments. What makes it even more special is that, wherever you play, the sea always feels close. In fact, it has been named several times as one of the 100 best golf courses in Europe.
A beach to share and enjoy
As mentioned at the beginning, Islantilla’s beach is shared. Walk east and you will reach La Antilla beach in Lepe, head west and you will arrive at the beaches of Isla Cristina. The result is a long stretch of fine sand with a promenade where space is never an issue.
The capital of tuna and white prawns
Although Islantilla is modern, it is surrounded by a deeply rooted seafaring tradition. Just a short distance away lies Isla Cristina, home to Spain’s most important fresh fish market in terms of fresh fish auctions. The famous white prawns from Huelva that you enjoy at the hotel were probably still in the sea the night before.

Quartos grandes, cama muito boa, muito limpo
Comida muito boa
as comidas não estavam devidamente sinalizadas se continham glúten ou não. Apenas no 2dia é que foi comunicado que podíamos pedir com antecedência outras opções sem glúten
As piscinas não estavam muito limpas e o chão a volta da piscina bastante escorregadio

Nos ha encantado nuestro viaje a Islantilla. La zona es estupenda, a pesar de la fecha habia bastante actividad. Hemos estado comodisimos en el apartamento, amplio y muy limpio. La comida no pongo la maxima puntuación porque solo teníamos media pensión y la comida la haciamos fuera. La limpieza del apartamento bien pero los pasillos del bloque que eran abiertos necesitaban mas limpieza sobre todo despues de las danas y el viento que hemos pasado, pero todo lo demas super limpio. La ubicación estaba bien, junto a uno de los mejores campo de golf de Huelva, un poco lejos de la playa y el paseo maritimo pero como ibamos con nuestro coche no teníamos problema para desplazarnos. Sin duda repetiría.

Las instalaciones y el personal inmejorable. La restauración fantástica su personal a la altura.
La ubicación, al estar apartado de la zona de costa. Para nosotros no fue un problema pues íbamos a recorrer una parte de la provincia de Huelva. Sin embargo, está ubicado en una zona de urbanizaciones, como indico alejado de las playas.

Nos tocó un apartamento enorme, el buffet de buena calidad y el spa muy completo. El personal es muy agradable, hemos ido varias veces y siempre volvemos encantados. Tiene parking privado y animaciones a pesar de ser octubre.

La amabilidad del personal. Y que el frigorífico del apartamento enfriaba muy bien.
The cleaning was terrible, after 3 days of saying how dirty the shower tray was, they cleaned a part. Not completely. They clean every 2 days and do not change the sheets. The meals were terrible, no show cooking, no kitchen available at the moment. They refill the pancakes from one tray to another with their hands. Cheap food and very little variety. One day I saw how they put back 2 slices of fish from a plate into the pot. The fruits were sour for 2 days. The spa facilities were not working, neither the steam sauna nor all the jets. Not all the power buttons on the jacuzzi were working. Ants and drain bugs in the rooms. 3 hangers per wardrobe... The apartments have a 2-key rating... In short... Nothing at all of a resort and 4 stars.
La limpieza fatal, después de 3 días diciendo como estaba el plato de ducha limpiaron una parte. No del todo. Limpian cada 2 días y no cambian las sábanas. Las comidas fatal, show cooking nada, no hay cocina en el momento. Reponen las tortitas con la mano de una bandeja a otra. Comida barata y muy poca variedad. Uno de los días vi como echaban 2 rodajas de pescado de un plato de nuevo a la cazuela. Las frutas ácidas por 2 días. Las instalaciones del spa, no funcionaban ni la sauna del vapor ni todos los chorros. Ni en el jacuzzi todos los botones de encendido. Hormigas y bichos de desagüe en las habitaciones. 3 perchas por armario.. Los apartamentos son de 2 llaves...En fin... De resort y de 4 estrellas NADA de NADA

Hay trenecito del Hotel (cada hora) a la zona de playa y zona de amacas gratuitas del hotel en ella. Tollas disponibles del hotel.
Nos regalaron 1 hora de SPA y la verdad es que está bien.
Las piscinas muy completas. Hay piscina de hidromasaje exterior bastante grande, mejor incluso que la del SPA.
Aparcamiento cómodo debajo de apartamento.
En las cenas cada día ponen un puestecito de comida temática (mexicana, china, italiana, americana) con 2 o 3 cosas típicas (burritos, tallarines, pasta, hamburgesas y perritos) y varían parte de la comida del buffet según la temática.
El zumo de naranja del desayuno es natural.
En general la comida es de calidad básica (sarinas, caballa, muslos de pollo, etc) pero bien cocinada. Algún día hay algo excepcional (zarzuela de pescado). Reponen comida hasta incluso justo antes del cierre si se va acabando.
There is not a lot of variety in the food (e.g. 1 meat and 1 fish), but it is varied from one day to the next due to the changing theme. Overall, the quality of the food is basic, but everything is well-cooked.
No hay mucha variedad de comida (ej: 1 carne y 1 pescado), pero sí es variada de un día para otro por la temática que va cambiando.
En general, la calidad de la comida es básica, pero todo bien cocinado.
