The Blue Sea Puerto Resort 4* has a privileged location near Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of the island of Tenerife.

The accommodation consists of two buildings: the Canarife Palace Hotel and the Bonanza Palace Hotel. Therefore, you can stay in either of them. Upon arrival at the resort, the staff will specify which building you will be staying in.

The complex has a 24-hour reception, so that you can be attended whenever you need it, air conditioning, wifi connection and outdoor car park (for a fee). 8.9 Diego Travelled with family October 2026 We were a little worried because of the bad reviews we had read, but we were pleasantly surprised. It’s not a luxury hotel, but the value for money is very good. It’s a complex made up of three buildings (Canarife and Bonanza in Puerto Resort, and Interpalace across the road). You can use the facilities in any of them. LOCATION: It’s situated up on the hill. To get to the beach, you have to go down a long flight of steps. You can park for free nearby. FOOD: There was always a good choice at the buffet. The weakest points were the grilled food and the limited variety of vegetables. The rest was quite acceptable. There was a wide variety of desserts. In the evenings, the selection usually changed: one night there was a selection of Canarian cheeses, another night a variety of omelettes, and another night there was someone carving ham. The All-Inclusive package included a wide range of drinks: soft drinks, juices, spirits, alcoholic drinks… Most were own-brand. There were premium-brand options, but you had to pay extra for them. The included coffee came from a self-service machine. Italian coffee from a coffee maker cost extra. They also served two included cocktails each day. The cold snacks available between meals included packaged pastries, fruit, ice cream in tubs and ingredients for making sandwiches. From 3 to 5 pm, there were hot snacks: pizza, burgers, hot dogs, nachos with cheese and chips. We would have liked crisps and nuts to be included too… ROOM: We stayed in a quadruple room with views of the pool and Mount Teide, in the Canarife building. It had been recently refurbished and was spacious, very bright and had a terrace. The downside was that it wasn’t well soundproofed. The rooms are currently being refurbished, so some have been renovated and others haven’t yet. ENTERTAINMENT: They usually have the typical games by the pool. There’s also a mini club for children in the mornings. In the evenings, the shows vary: live music, dance nights, karaoke… We also saw the entertainment team rehearsing, so we assume they put on a show themselves some nights, but that didn’t happen during our stay. FACILITIES: There are three pools, one in each building. There’s another indoor pool in the Canarife, but it was being renovated. There’s a mini-golf course, a tennis court and a table tennis table. To use them, you have to ask at reception and leave a €10 deposit, which is refunded at the end. There’s a gym, but we didn’t use it. There are bars on the Interpalace rooftop and next to the Bonanza, and they’re noisy at night.

UBICACIÓN: Ubicado en la parte alta. Para llegar a la playa hay que bajar unas largas escaleras. Se puede aparcar gratis en las inmediaciones. COMIDAS: Buffet en el que siempre podías encontrar varias opciones. Lo más flojo era las cosas de plancha y que había poca variedad de verduras. El resto era bastante aceptable. Había gran variedad de postres dulces. Por las noches solían cambiar, un día hubo variedad de quesos canarios, otro día variedad de tortillas y otro día hubo un cortador de jamón. En el Todo Incluido entraba gran variedad de bebidas: Refrescos, Zumos, Licores, Bebidas alcohólicas... La mayoría son de marca blanca. Hay opción de primeras marcas pero se pagan aparte. El café incluido es de máquina autoservicio. El de cafetera italiana se paga aparte. Además, cada día ponen 2 cócteles que están incluidos. Los snacks fríos entre horas incluyen bollería industrial, fruta, helados de tarrina e ingredientes para hacer sandwich. De 15 a 17 hay snacks calientes: pizza, hamburguesas, perritos, nachos con queso y patatas fritas. Echamos de menos que no entraran patatas chips, frutos secos... HABITACIÓN: Estuvimos en una habitación cuádruple con vistas a la piscina y al Teide en el edificio Canarife. Recién reformada, amplia, muy luminosa y con terraza. Como cosa negativa, no estaba bien insonorizada. Están en proceso de reformas las habitaciones. Por lo que ahora mismo hay algunas reformadas y otras no. ANIMACION: Suele haber los típicos juegos en la zona de la piscina. También hay miniclub para los niños por la mañana. Por la noche van cambiando de espectáculos: música en vivo, noche de bailes, karaoke... También vimos al equipo de animación hacer ensayos por lo que suponemos que alguna noche harían ellos alguna actuación pero no coincidió durante nuestra estancia. SERVICIOS: Dispone de 3 piscinas, una en cada edificio. En el Canarife hay otra piscina cubierta que estaba en obras. Hay minigolf, pista de tenis y de ping pong, para utilizarlo hay que solicitarlo en recepción y dejar un depósito de 10€ que te devuelven al final. Tienen gimnasio pero no lo utilizamos. Tanto en la azotea del Interpalace como al lado del Bonanza hay bares de copas que son ruidosos por la noche.
