About the accommodation

The URH Zen Balagares Hotel & SPA 4* is located in Overo, next to the Trasona reservoir, a haven of tranquility in the center of Asturias, just 7 km from the center of Aviles and about 11 km from the beautiful beaches of the Asturian coast.

The accommodation has 24-hour reception, air conditioning and heating, wifi connection, indoor car park (paid) and outdoor car park (free). In addition, you can unwind with a drink in the Lobby bar called the Daikan.

You can also take the opportunity to relax in the spa centre where you will find an active pool, foot bath, steam bath, dry sauna, mixed saunas, ice cabin, gravity jets, essence shower, contrast shower and much more (for a fee). It is essential to book the Spa service before starting the holiday by calling the accommodation.

It has a total of 147 rooms. The rooms have air conditioning and heating, television, telephone, safe, wifi connection and bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer and some amenities.

You can visit the modern space of art and culture, the Niemeyer center, as well as some beautiful parks in the city of Avilés. You can also go to Oviedo and Gijón, both cities, about 30km away.

El hotel está muy bien, de los pocos hoteles que duermes sin ruidos de pasillo y habitaciones contiguas. La cena todo super rico para elegir dos entrantes, dos segundos, y 2 postres o fruta, más el agua. Es lo que te entra con la media pensión. El desayuno tipo bufet muy completo. Recomiendo reservar el spa con tiempo antes de alojarse.
El spa para mi gusto estaba de más de caliente…. En la zona de de las duchas de contraste había cosas que no funcionaban.

The hotel, needs renovation everywhere, they gave me the disabled room; without being handicapped, broken heating, at least the receptionist at night changed us to another room. The spa was full of children, making it impossible to relax in a nursery.
