Honestly, I was a child in the seventies and stayed in boarding houses that were more modern. Unbearable noise in the street outside the hotel, no way to park in the area; if you find a spot and move the car you could be looking for hours or have to leave it a ten-minute walk away, near the Mercadona.

Having a pool and air conditioning shouldn’t qualify it as three stars. We had a power cut one day and no hot water the next, the only positive being the reception staff who were sympathetic and resolved an issue for us.
