10 David Travelled with couple August 2022 We liked it very much. We stayed at the Riu Republica and found it wonderful. Hotel +18a, with many pools, very good water park (despite being tiny), excellent staff and great food. 30' from Punta Cana airport. Our plane left at 22.30, but we were able to enjoy the resort all day long.

Nos ha gustado mucho. Estuvimos en el Riu República y nos ha parecido maravilloso. Hotel +18a, con muchas piscinas, parque acuático muy bueno (a pesar de ser pequeñito), personal excelente y comida genial. A 30' del aeropuerto de Punta Cana. Nuestro avión salía a las 22.30,pero hemos podido disfrutar del complejo igualmente durante tooooodo el día.

10 Cristina Travelled with friends July 2022 The hotel is excellent. Walking through the green areas of the hotel is wonderful, it has direct access to the beach and the entertainment program is very good and especially the shows they do every night in the theater are a real blast. The best of all is the staff, each and every one of the people who work there are very attentive and helpful, they make you feel at home from the first day. I really appreciate that the workers have their names on their shirts so you can get to know them. Thanks to Edward from the Mangú dining room for all his attention and care in each of the meals, thanks to Willian from the Saona bar for all his smiles every time he served you, thanks to Edwin (riuFit) and Rafael (riuFan) for making us feel like we were at home. The rooms are perfect with a spectacular cleanliness have ceiling fan and air conditioning, the bathroom with two sinks is perfect, the balcony views are beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, in the bedside table there are plugs with usb port and the minibar is replenished every two days (alcohol, water, coffee ...). The security of the hotel is 10, they have all areas controlled, even to access the complex is all very well guarded. They have a luggage room and courtesy showers to use the last day since the room is left in the morning but you can still enjoy all the services of the hotel. The all-inclusive is perfect, it includes the 7 restaurants, the free buffets and all the bars, they even serve you while you are at the pool or on the beach!

El hotel es excelente. Pasear por las zonas verdes del hotel es una maravilla, tiene acceso directo a la playa y el programa de entretenimiento está muy bien y sobre todo los shows que hacen cada noche en el teatro son una auténtica pasada. Lo mejor de todo es el personal, todas y cada una de las personas que trabajan ahí son muy atentas y serviciales, te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer día. Valoro muy positivamente que los trabajadores y trabajadoras tengan su nombre en la camiseta para poder conocerlos. Gracias a Edward del comedor Mangú por toda su atención y sus cuidados en cada una de las comidas, gracias a Willian de la barra del bar Saona por todas sus sonrisas cada vez que te atendía, gracias a Edwin (riuFit) y Rafael (riuFan) por hacernos sentir que estábamos en nuestra casa. Las habitaciones son perfectas con una limpieza espectacular disponen de ventilador de techo y de aire acondicionado, el baño con dos picas es perfecto, las vistas del balcón son preciosas, las camas son muy cómodas, en la mesita de noche hay enchufes con puerto usb y el minibar lo reponen cada dos días (alcohol, agua, café…). La seguridad del hotel es de 10, tienen todas las zonas controladas, hasta para acceder al complejo está todo muy bien vigilado. Disponen de una sala de maletas y unas duchas de cortesía para poder usar el último día ya que la habitación se deja por la mañana pero puedes seguir disfrutando de todos los servicios del hotel. El todo incluido es perfecto, incluye los 7 restaurantes, los buffets libres y todos los bares, te sirven hasta mientras estas en la piscina o en la playa!

Varias cosas a destacar en la parte negativa. En primer lugar que tuvimos que hacer una reclamación por el servicio de limpieza. Hecha reclamación, solucionado el problema. Los restaurantes (en especial el asiático y el español, con comida que en España no se pondría para su consumo), y en general la calidad de la comida deja mucho que desear. La bebida, pagas la novatada, hasta que aprendes a pedir (no pidas un ron con.... pide un ron imperial y aparte el .....). Hay que tener cuidado con las excursiones, te pueden tomar el pelo, aunque las contrates dentro del complejo. Por último, el trato que se le da al equipaje. A mi me han roto las dos maletas facturadas, y solo me han admitido una reclamación. Para la otra he tenido que poner una reclamación aparte, como hoja de reclamaciones, por no admitir reclamar, todo un poco heavy (con la mediación de un policía nacional, porque no querían admitirme nada). Los servicios en vuelo, para ser un trayecto largo, muy normalitos, tirando a malos. He llamado a BuscoUnChollo para comentar esta situación y lo único que me ofrecen es su "solidaridad", eso si, muy amablemente.
