About the accommodation

The 4R Gran Regina 4* is located in the tourist town of Salou, in the heart of the Costa Dorada and 1km from the beach.

The hotel has a 24-hour reception, so that they can help you whenever you need it, free luggage storage service, free wifi, air conditioning and heating, as well as indoor car park (for a fee).

In summer season you can enjoy sunbathing and swimming in the outdoor pool, great! In addition, they also offer entertainment for both adults and children and a mini-club.

El personal muy amable
The hotel does not correspond to a 4*. Its rating now would have to be a 2 * at best. The facilities are very old and in the swimming pool, the sunbeds are next to each other, because there is no place to put yourself in them.

The food is good but the day of Mexican food my wife ate some pork fajitas that sent her to the hospital, when we went to the reception to say so they just gave us the address of the CAP and at no time were they concerned about my wife's health, they didn't even ask. Another complaint is that since day 1 we have complained that the refrigerator and air conditioning did not work, the second day we went down to reception and the gentleman on the night shift super rude just told us that there was no one who could help, in short the 3 nights we did not sleep well because of the heat and above the refrigerator did not work so we had no cold water.
La comida está bien pero el día de comida mexicana mi mujer se comió unas fajitas de cerdo que la mandaron al hospital, cuando hemos ido a recepción a decirlo se han limitado a darnos la dirección del CAP y en ningún momento se han preocupado por la salud de mi mujer, ni siquiera preguntaron. Otra queja es que desde el día 1 nos hemos quejado que la nevera y el aire acondicionado no iba, el segundo día bajamos a recepción y el señor del turno de la noche super borde se limitó a decirnos que no había nadie que pudiera ayudar, en fin las 3 noches no dormimos bien por el calor y encima la nevera no iba por lo que no teníamos ni agua fría.

 10 Yousra Travelled with couple July 2024 Very good experience. The staff was very friendly. We had to leave at 10 o'clock but we had our food paid for, they gave us the possibility to keep our bags in a luggage room with cameras and everything and continue enjoying the day at the hotel.
Muy buena experiencia. El personal muy amable. Teníamos que salir a las 10 pero teníamos la comida pagada, nos dieron la posibilidad de guardar las maletas en un cuarto para maletas con cámaras y todo y seguir disfrutando el día en el hotel.

 6.6 Piedad Travelled with family July 2024 The rooms are very clean and correct. Comfortable beds. The dining room staff very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is very cozy and very well decorated.
Las habitaciones muy correctas y limpias. Las camas cómidas. El personal del comedor muy amable y solícito. La piscina muy acogedora y muy bien ornamentada.
The wifi did not work well. The reception staff was unfriendly and not very helpful "if the wifi doesn't work then something must be wrong". On the first floor it works, on the 5th floor it doesn't, but I must be doing something wrong. "The outside parking is owned by the ajuntamiento and outside you will find timetables and instructions on how it works". I find these comments unkind and inappropriate for a 4 star hotel. The room had a telephone but no plug. The cable was loose.
La wifi no funcionaba bien. El personal de recepción poco amable y no muy colaborador "si la wifi no va es que algo estará haciendo mal". En la planta baja funciona, en la 5a planta no, pero algo estaría haciendo yo mal. "El aparcamiento exterior es del ajuntamiento y fuera estarán los horarios e instrucciones de cómo funciona". Me parecen comentarios poco amables y no adecuados para un hotel de 4 estrellas. La habitación tenía teléfono pero sin clavija. El cable estaba suelto.
