La ubicación del hotel Mix Peymar y, sobre todo, el trato de algunas personas del personal. Las camareras del turno de noche fueron majísimas y siempre nos atendieron con mucha amabilidad. También queremos destacar a Mikel, de recepción, que fue amable y atento con nosotros. Aunque la experiencia general fue mala, hubo trabajadores concretos que sí hicieron bien su trabajo.
Prácticamente todos los aspectos relacionados con la estancia: la limpieza, el mantenimiento de las habitaciones y, especialmente, la calidad de la comida. A nuestra llegada encontramos arena en la habitación y, al sentarnos en las sillas del balcón, nos llenamos de polvo y arena, ya que tampoco estaban limpias. Los espejos de la habitación estaban sucios y la cristalera del balcón tampoco estaba limpia; los cristales no se limpiaron durante nuestra estancia. Además, hubo un día en el que no se realizó la limpieza de la habitación, las camas se hacían de manera bastante deficiente y las sábanas no fueron cambiadas ningún día durante toda nuestra estancia. La habitación tampoco disponía de nevera, algo que consideramos una carencia importante y poco práctico en una estancia de vacaciones. La comida fue, sin duda, el aspecto más decepcionante. La calidad nos pareció pésima y la variedad era prácticamente inexistente. Del desayuno únicamente destacaríamos los huevos fritos; el bacon dejaba bastante que desear y el queso fresco tenía un sabor que nos recordaba al plástico. Incluso la verdura hervida, que debería ser algo sencillo, nos pareció de muy mala calidad y estaba realmente mala. Las mermeladas no se ofrecían en recipientes individuales, sino en cuencos grandes compartidos, algo que nos pareció poco higiénico. También nos llamó la atención que a las 21:30, cuando supuestamente el servicio de cena finalizaba a las 22:00, se retiraran los carteles identificativos de los platos. Una clienta se quejó de ello y el camarero le respondió: “No me calientes la cabeza”. Al preguntarle nosotros por qué estaban retirando los carteles, nos indicó que los quitaba para ir adelantando. Consideramos que, mientras el servicio siga abierto, deberían mantenerse tanto los alimentos como su correspondiente identificación y ofrecerse un trato adecuado a los clientes. En otra ocasión había un plato identificado como “marisco” y, al preguntar qué marisco era, la persona que atendía no supo indicarnos qué contenía. Finalmente comprobamos que se trataba de un guiso de calamares. El desayuno se mantuvo prácticamente igual durante toda la estancia y, debido a la mala calidad de la comida, finalmente decidimos no cenar en el hotel y comer fuera. También consideramos que debería mejorar el trato y la atención al cliente.
