The Hotel Mareny 3 * is located in one of the best areas of Benidorm, a step away from the historic center of the city of skyscrapers and capital of the Costa Blanca. The Poniente beach is 400 meters away. The hotel has the perfect location to get to know the main points of interest of Benidorm.

The horrible beds, mattresses where you can't rest at all. I don't know how people rate it, because I booked it after seeing good reviews but regretted it as soon as I arrived. We were assigned 2 interior rooms, one with no balcony at all and the other with a small balcony, both overlooking the courtyard where all the air conditioning units and kitchen smells were. You couldn't even stick your head out due to the heat and bad smell. The bathroom and the room's wardrobe had bad odors. No fridge, nothing. The air conditioning in the room was right above the bed, making it impossible to use with 2 kids because you'd freeze, and if you turned it off, it turned into a sauna. It's the worst hotel I've ever been to and I wouldn't go back even for free. The waiters do their best, polite. The food was scarce: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, and little else. Some days they even served meatballs that were clearly from a can. Honestly, I felt awful during the 5 days we were there. I don't recommend it. It's not expensive, but for that money I've been to places in much better condition. This hotel urgently needs a renovation and a good chef. I'd be ashamed to serve that food. Out of the 4 days I was there, I skipped dinner twice and felt sick after eating once.
