The Golden Tulip Porto Gaia Hotel & SPA 4* is a cozy hotel located 5 minutes from Lavadores beach. It is very close to the historic centre of Porto, where you can visit the Ribeira, Aliados Avenue or the Lello bookstore.

The accommodation has a restaurant, bar, air conditioning, heating, 24-hour reception to help you whenever you need it, a spa area (for a fee), Wi-Fi connection and a meeting and banquet room.

All its bedrooms have air conditioning, heating, television, telephone, safe, minibar, desk-table and bathroom with shower or bathtub, hair dryer and toiletries.

Very good 4.3 Jose March 2022 that was near the sea

Well, it says that it is a 4-star hotel and I think that three stars is a lot for this hotel. Real estate is very deteriorated like the bathroom doors, the old beds, the truth is that I would not recommend it to anyone, but the staff, as in practically all of Portugal, is excellent and very friendly.

I have felt cheated. It is not a hotel to visit Porto. You are 3 hours away on foot and more than an hour by bus.

Good 7 David Travelled with couple February 2022 Quiet area, renovated rooms, good breakfast and has covered and outdoor parking, free, the latter. You have to notify, at reception, so that they open the fence for you. Very quiet area and facing the sea.
Zona tranquila, habitaciones reformadas, desayuno bien y tiene parking cubierto y otro al aire libre, free, este último. Hay que avisar, en recepción, para que te abran la valla. Zona muy tranquila y frente al mar.
A bit far from Porto, 15 minutes by car. The Spa...was not operational.

The pack included access to the health club. It would be nice if they informed me that it was just a seedy sauna in a locker room, that the spa itself was closed, since it was what made me opt for this bargain and not another one that already warned that the hotel did not it was spa.
el pack incluia acceso a health club, estaria bien que informase que solo era una sauna cutre en unos vestuarios, que el spa en si estaba cerrado, ya que fue lo que hizo decantarme por este chollo y no otro que ya avisaba que el hotel no era spa.

Basic 8 V&M Travelled with couple February 2022 Spacious room, comfortable mattresses and pillows. The bathroom with large shower. The terrace inside the room with sea views to enjoy breakfast that was offered to bring it up to the room the night of arrival at no cost. We also liked that we have a kettle for tea, coffee, etc. in the room.

La terraza dentro de la habitación con vistas al mar para poder disfrutar del desayuno que se ofrecieron a subirlo a la habitación la noche de llegada sin ningún costo. Nos gustó también que disponemos dentro del cuarto de un hervidor de agua para infusiones, cafés etc.
Breakfast can be improved. The pool cannot be used (covid) and should be indicated as it is offered as a valuable possibility for clients.
El desayuno es mejorable. La piscina no se puede usar (covid) y debería indicarse ya que se ofrece como una posibilidad valorable para los clientes.
