About the accommodation

The Hotel Alegria Cabo de Gata 4* is located in Retamar, in the province of Almeria, 17 km from the city of Almeria and just over 600 metres from the nearest beach.

The accommodation has 24 hour reception, air conditioning and heating (depending on the season), free wifi, bar-cafeteria service and buffet restaurant where they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They have a swimming pool ideal for both children and adults :-) In addition, you can relax on the garden terrace with sun loungers.

It has a total of 213 rooms fully equipped with air conditioning and heating (depending on the season), wifi, television, telephone and bathroom with bathtub (except the adapted rooms, on request they have a shower). All rooms are exterior and have a small balcony.

Buffetten waren uitgebreid, show cooking had lekkere gerechten gemaakt door sympathieke koks. Mooie omgeving !
Heel gehorige kamers (kamer met tussendeur). Heel erg druk omwille van jeugdgroepen die doorheen het hele hotel ongecontroleerd hun gang gingen en vooral in het restaurant enorm veel lawaai en chaos veroorzaakten. Restaurant erg ongezellig... 'refter' zou een betere omschrijving zijn.

The hotel,excellent nice quiet location within walking distance of public transport rail and bus. ( I have mobility issues) accommodation high standard but for me the bath was an issue (no grab bars)room spaciousand airy.Staff very helpful excellent service. Meals well presented, excellent in variety .Public rooms clean and tidy particularly enjoyed the library.Public areas loved the tranquility and coolness of the lawns and the 2nd swimming pool.
