Our room was very spacious and very clean. We had a nice outlook and could see the sea. Overall, our stay was very good. The hotel was excellent value for money.

The hot breakfast choice was not particulary good. It would have been better to have an egg station where the chef makes your freshly cooked eggs. On our arrival at the hotel around 4pm we wanted a drink and snack but there was no food available at all - only nuts. Thought they would maybe have crisps or snacks. We then had to go out to find somewhere to eat, although we did have a drink in the hotel

On arrival, one of our rooms had the bed unmade, as if someone had had a nap, and there was a used condom in the bathroom bin. We reported it immediately. A serious hygiene and quality-control failure. The lift was visibly dirty, looking as if it was not cleaned daily. The pool area had permanently waterlogged artificial grass, unhygienic and unpleasant to walk on. At the buffet: water was not replaced, juices were not refilled and plates and glasses were not replenished. Dinner was from 20:00 to 22:00, but if you went down after 21:00 the food was already scarce and was not topped up. The waiters did what they could, but they were clearly overwhelmed. Room key cards stopped working at least twice a day, every day of our stay. We kept them away from our phones in case that was the cause, but it kept happening, so that wasn’t the reason. We had to go down to reception constantly to have them fixed. One day we bought water at the hotel bar and could not pay by card because the till had already been closed. Staff told us they would note it down so we could pay at breakfast the next day, which we did. Minutes later, a manager approached a friend and insinuated that we did not intend to pay, treating us almost like thieves despite following the procedure they themselves had indicated. In short: you get what you pay for. We do not recommend it in its current state, although we write this in the hope that management will use it to make improvements.
