5.1 Maria Travelled with couple June 2025 The food was varied and of higher quality only while a group of French people were also staying. The size of the room was adequate. The performance of the folk group Juventude Amiga de Conqueiros was friendly and nice, and their dance lively.

It would improve everything. It's not a 3-star. The pool only worked for 2 out of the 6 days we were there and we were not informed beforehand or afterwards. It's not heated. It's cold. The staff is unpleasant and treats you as if they are doing you a favor, although they do answer when greeted, like the blonde girl at reception or the dark-eyed guy who practically forgave our existence at check-in and didn't even tell us our room number. Most of them are arrogant and hostile. The food only improved in quality and variety when a group of French guests were staying, who had reserved tables while the rest of us were just directed where to sit. Only the oldest gentleman in the dining room and the lady with white curly hair were kind. Before they arrived, there were only two first courses and two main courses and they didn't replenish if they ran out. The juice was watery and undrinkable. There was music on only 2 nights when the French group wanted it. As soon as they went to bed, the music stopped. There was no mini-fridge in the room. The cleaning lady marked the time to clean the room. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and it's a two-hour drive from Lisbon, so what is indicated in their description is incorrect.
