AZZ Peñafiel Las Claras Hotel & Spa 4* is the ideal hotel for the celebration of any type of event in the heart of the Ribera del Duero thanks to its spacious and functional rooms with natural light, as well as its outdoor and main areas, unique, exclusive and different.The hotel is located in a former convent and is ideal for holding corporate events, seminars, conferences, product presentations and a wide range of other types of meetings.

It has several functional meeting rooms, restaurant and leisure areas with a wide gastronomic offer, a complete SPA and car park complete the hotel facilities.

All rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with: air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi connection, minibar, safe, television, television and a a fully-equipped bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer and amenities.

Located at the foot of a hill, where the rivers Duero and Duratón meet, Peñafiel is the center of the Ribera del Duero, settled as an urban center during the reconquest, 56 km from Valladolid and 37 km from Aranda de Duero.

Peñafiel is the cradle of the Ribera del Duero, a wine-growing area of great international prestige, and the place where the most famous wineries of the Ribera del Duero and the most prestigious wines are located.Its identification with wine is reflected in its popular architecture and the impressive castle that presides over the town and today houses the visited Provincial Wine Museum, churches and convents such as San Pablo, Santa Maria, San Miguel or Santa Clara, without forgetting the Plaza del Coso, medieval style with wooden arabesque balconies where the bullfighting festivities of the San Roque festivities are held in August.

El hotel está genial. Muy bonito y todo reformado y nuevo. Está muy bien ubicado y tiene unas vistas preciosas al Castillo. La habitación era bastante amplia. Las camas eran cómodas, aunque pedimos de matrimonio y nos dieron dos camas (nos dijeron que era así). El baño amplio y con lo necesario. Tienen una temperatura agradable en toda la estancia, lo que es de agradecer. El SPA pequeño pero muy bien. Con lo imprescindible y con aforo limitado para que no haya aglomeraciones y para poder disfrutar de la tranquilidad del SPA. El desayuno muy bien. Completo y con la comida de calidad. Todo fresco, del día y muy rico. La cena en un espacio muy bonito, sin mucha variedad (el de media pensión) pero bien. La atención por parte de los camareros: correcta.
La luz cálida en un baño... donde hay que tener luz para el aseo, no sé yo. No funcionaba el toallero (radiador) eléctrico. Había 4 perchas únicamente en el armario. Para dos personas las considero muy insuficientes ya que hay que acumular mucha ropa sobre una misma percha: pantalones, camisetas, camisas, vestidos, abrigos... Se veía polvo en ciertas partes de la habitación y no dejaron limpia una mesita de noche, que tenía marcas de algún vaso. La cena, para uno o dos días, puede pasar, pero si se opta por estar más días, como es un menú fijo (el de media pensión), entiendo que no sería muy adecuado.

Del pueblo y las bodegas hemos disfrutado, del hotel también, pero en el hotel no había ni un simple juego para pasar el rato. La comida fenomenal con la media pensión, a la carta no merece la pena, pues aunque los entrantes y los primeros platos son muy buenos, me parece un robo pagar 28 € por un filete de lomo bajo, que no llega a 150 gr y me lo vendan como entrecot (el cual mínimo son 350 ó 400gr). Aunque lo podía imaginar, porque en la carta era casi imposible ver los precios con la letra en color oro. Agradecimientos a Alexandra que nos trató muy profesionalmente, con la media pensión e hizo olvidar el fracaso de la comida a la carta del primer día. La limpieza en el salón del claustro es muy deficiente, así como en las habitaciones.
Habría que mejorar la limpieza en general, no solo en las habitaciones, sino también en las mesas del claustro, pues al menos tendrían que pasar una bayeta, para no tener que usarlas con los restos de otras personas en ellas.

The hotel,excellent nice quiet location within walking distance of public transport rail and bus. ( I have mobility issues) accommodation high standard but for me the bath was an issue (no grab bars)room spaciousand airy.Staff very helpful excellent service. Meals well presented, excellent in variety .Public rooms clean and tidy particularly enjoyed the library.Public areas loved the tranquility and coolness of the lawns and the 2nd swimming pool. I would stay again.I have recommended this hotel to my friends

No online platform comes close to J2S offers
There isn't a Holiday provider or booking platform with the level of offers as advantageous than J2S in Spain. Not even close. I have spent hours researching other platforms checking the conditions offer by J2S, and nothing comes close. They are performing an excellent service for the consumers, offering the best value deals available on this region.

I wanted to check in 15 minutes after my booking. At the reception they could not see my booking. It was around 10 pm but the jump2spain helpdesk was available and talked to the reception so i could check in. Which was a really great service.
