Hotel Bahia Bayona 3*

Located in the town of Bayona, the municipality is integrated into the Metropolitan Area of Vigo and belongs to the province of Pontevedra, in Galicia. At 350 meters is the centre of the town and about 25Kms is the centre of the city of Vigo.

 

The accommodation has a 24-hour reception, air conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi, bar-cafeteria, restaurant with typical and traditional Galician cuisine (kitchen open only during high season). They offer buffet breakfast throughout the year. They have free outdoor car park and paid indoor car park.

It has a total of 33 bedrooms that are equipped with two single beds or one double bed, telephone, television, safe, Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning, heating and a a fully-equipped bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer.

La situación del hotel, estaba céntrico. La habitación (era estilo buhardilla, es decir, el techo caía en diagonal) tenía sitio suficiente para colocar ropa, maletas, etc... y aunque no enorme, era amplia. Cambiaban las toallas diariamente y reponían los objetos de aseo (jabón, gel, etc...).
La insonorización de las habitaciones era insuficiente. Se escucha bastante el pasillo y las habitaciones de al lado. Se nos adjudicó directamente una habitación con dos camas gemelas pegadas, sin preguntar si se prefería una con cama de matrimonio. El hotel cuenta con un mini-parking exterior (para unos 25-30 coches máximo) que no es muy amplio y en el que se apilan todos los coches, así que como viene siendo lo mismo que dejarlo en la calle y además estaba completo, nos tocó buscar alrededor y aparcarlo todo el tiempo en calles cercanas. El baño de la habitación a simple vista parecía limpio y se limpiaba a diario, cosa que comprobamos y no dudamos, pero igualmente de noche apareció allí un ciempiés encima de la toalla del suelo. No quisimos armar jaleo en recepción, pero al menos sí hacer foto para que quede constancia, la cual dejo por aquí: http://subefotos.com/ver/?1bc09dd1859b1b9ca6b0f2eb96d6764ao.jpg Finalmente, el desayuno está bien pero sin destacar: se sirve en un comedor, en el que en una mesa central ponen para elegir de lo que disponen. Se echa en falta zumo natural y algún tipo más de bollería, además de que tuve que mandar reponer una vez sobres de colacao y otro día leche caliente (siempre hay algún/a camare@ controlando en un mostrador que tienen, pero parece que atienda más a observar como desayunamos los que estamos allí que a lo se va necesitando reponer).

When the hotel told me my booking had been cancelled, you were so helpful and did everything you could to reassure me and worked with the hotel to straighten out the issue.
