About the accommodation

The Playamojacar 4* hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, a new water park with 3 Water Water Water Slides of 10.5 meters high and a children's area with water games, fountains and Water Water Water Slides for children.

The hotel also has a games room, gym, gift store and reading room. The rooms have a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

It houses a large buffet restaurant with live cooking. It also has a cafeteria, pool bar and a magnificent theater bar where the best shows are organized. The establishment has 24-hour reception, car rental service and currency exchange service.

It is 1 km from the Macenas Golf Club and the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. The natural park Cabo de Gata is 20 minutes from Carboneras; 45 minutes from Nijar, Las Negras and Rodalquilar; and 1 hour from the towns of Cabo de Gata, San Jose, Rodalquilar and Almeria.

The check-in access was chaotic, we queued for an hour. You could also encounter queues at breakfast time and sometimes at lunch time for at least 15 or 20 minutes. The hotel,excellent nice quiet location within walking distance of public transport rail and bus. ( I have mobility issues) accommodation high standard but for me the bath was an issue (no grab bars)room spaciousand airy.Staff very helpful excellent service. Meals well presented, excellent in variety .Public rooms clean and tidy particularly enjoyed the library.Public areas loved the tranquility and coolness of the lawns and the 2nd swimming pool. I would stay again.I have recommended this hotel to my friends
