About the accommodation

The Playamojacar 4* hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, a new water park with 3 Water Water Water Slides of 10.5 meters high and a children's area with water games, fountains and Water Water Water Slides for children.

The hotel also has a games room, gym, gift store and reading room. The rooms have a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

It houses a large buffet restaurant with live cooking. It also has a cafeteria, pool bar and a magnificent theater bar where the best shows are organized. The establishment has 24-hour reception, car rental service and currency exchange service.

It is 1 km from the Macenas Golf Club and the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. The natural park Cabo de Gata is 20 minutes from Carboneras; 45 minutes from Nijar, Las Negras and Rodalquilar; and 1 hour from the towns of Cabo de Gata, San Jose, Rodalquilar and Almeria.

Good 7 Janek Travelled with couple September 2017 Breakfast buffet with Serrano ham and swimming pool. Breakfast buffet short but good, although the coffee better we take it in a cafeteria outside .... Everything else was good.
Los desayunos buffet con jamon serrano y la piscina. Buffet de desayunos corto pero bueno, aunque el café mejor que lo tomemos en una cafetería fuera.... Todo lo demás bien.
For a 4 star hotel there are some things that are not up to par. Room service does not happen every day, there are many services available although they charge you for everything. Even for the mattress for the sun lounger (it's really necessary on those loungers).
Para ser un 4 estrellas hay algunas cosas que no están a la altura. Servicio de habitaciones no pasa cada día, hay muchos servicios disponibles aunque te cobran por todo. Incluso por la colchoneta para la tumbona (es realmente necesario en esas tumbonas)

The entire HA is in need of renovation and would be a 10 star property.

Very good 9 Paula Teresa Travelled with couple July 2017 The aparthotel is magnificent, spacious and with everything you need, both the people at the reception and pool in the very good treatment. I recommend the breakfast because it had everything and it is good.
El apartahotel magnífico, amplio y con todo lo necesario, tanto las personas de recepción y piscina en el trato buenísimo. El desayuno lo recomiendo porque tenía de todo y está bueno.
As for the cleaning service I am not very clear if they had to clean or not every day but the first day we arrived they almost kicked us out to do the cleaning and then they were three days without coming and when they finally showed up the same as the first day. I admit that I do not mind that they had not come every day but I would have liked to know and the ways were not correct. However, the days they cleaned the room (not that we stained a lot and we make the bed every day...) it was great.
En cuanto al servicio de limpieza no tengo muy claro si tenían que limpiar o no todos los días pero el primero que llegamos casi nos echaron para hacer la limpieza y luego estuvieron tres días sin venir y cuando al final aparecieron lo mismo que el primer día. Reconozco que no me importa que no hubieran venido todos los días pero si me hubiera gustado saberlo y las formas no eran las correctas. Eso si, los días que limpiaron la habitación (no es que mancháramos mucho y somos de hacer la cama a diario...) quedo estupenda.

Good 7 Isabel Travelled with  friends June 2017 The staff was very friendly and the facilities are very good value for money.
El personal era muy amable y las instalaciones están muy bien en relación calidad precio.
Breakfast did not have much variety and the orange juice was horrible like drinking syrup. Check in was at 10 am very early in the morning.
El desayuno no tenía mucha variedad y el zumo de naranja era horrible como beber jarabe. El check era a las 10 de la mañana muy temprano.
