Departure point: Rota do Douro pier (Vila Nova de Gaia).
Timetable: departures every 30 minutes.

Collect your physical ticket at the hotel reception. Once you have it, simply head to the pier whenever you prefer — no need to reserve a specific time. If one boat is full, you can board the next available departure.

El hotel es precioso, el personal maravilloso, el desayuno genial y la ubicación perfecta, puedes ir andando a todas partes. Lo recomiendo 100%
They put us in a room that is separate from the other units. It’s a building with a courtyard where three rooms are located. Ours (and I imagine the others are the same) has a very small window, so it’s a very dark room, with a tiny wardrobe holding three hangers and no drawers anywhere. But the worst thing was the damp smell. We didn’t say anything because we were only staying three nights and felt a bit embarrassed, but please check whether all Jump2spain.com customers are being given the same or a similar room. I tried to book one day and couldn’t because it was full, so the only option was to reserve the two sessions back-to-back for the day of checkout; that way they told us we would have two hours available. Location and expensive dining: The hotel restaurant is very pricey and there are hardly any food options nearby (the closest are a 15-20 minute walk away).
Rooms and noise: The beds are two single mattresses pushed together under the same sheet (you can feel the gap in the middle) and the space felt a bit tight for a double. Also, in our room the bathroom extractor/fan was extremely noisy.
Very basic spa: It’s basically a heated pool with occasional bubbles; there are no jets and massages cost extra.
Common areas and luggage storage: We missed a spacious lobby with sofas to sit on. Also, the left-luggage area isn’t a locked room: suitcases are left in a rear corner in plain view and unsupervised.

Zonas comunes y guardaequipaje: Echamos en falta un hall amplio con sofás para sentarse. Por otro lado, la consigna no es un cuarto cerrado bajo llave: las maletas se quedan en un rincón trasero a la vista y sin supervisión.
