We lay down again, and a few minutes later the knocking started again. I went to the door and politely asked to rest a little longer as we hadn’t slept the night before, reminding her we had late check-out until 14:00 and had put the sign up. I asked, “Have you spoken to reception?” She replied, “They haven’t answered me yet, but you have to go because I wasn’t told there would be anyone with a late check-out.” I asked her again to speak to reception, closed the door, and there were no further knocks. We left at 14:00.

Va mi pareja a abrir y la de limpieza diciéndonos que nos teníamos que ir, a la cual le contestamos que teníamos el late check out y nos dice que no, y le insistí que hablara con recepción. Nos volvemos a recostar, y a los minutos de nuevo empieza a golpear, voy yo y le digo, porfavor queremos descansar un poco más ya que anoche no pudimos, tenemos el late check out hasta las dos y pusimos el cartel para que no nos molesten, y le digo, "ya hablaste con recepción? " A lo que responde " aún no me contestaron pero se tienen que ir por qué no me avisaron que hubiera nadie con late check out " y le digo " porfavor ve a hablar a recepción" y le cierro la puerta y luego ya no golpeó más. Y nos fuimos a las 14hs. Además agregar que no te dejan absolutamente nada en las habitaciones de utensilios para uso personal.

Our experience at Hotel Táctica has been very disappointing and is far from what is expected of a four-star hotel.
Upon arrival, we were told that our room had two single beds when we had reserved a double bed. The explanation was that “there was no availability” and that this type of bed was “on request.” However, we checked the hotel’s own website at that moment and it showed double rooms available for that same night (23 March). A difficult situation to understand and quite frustrating.
The restaurant experience was even worse. We ordered a cream soup with cod. The cod came on a tomato base that was clearly off: the smell was sour and unpleasant. We told the waitress, who was the best part of the stay: very professional, kind and attentive at all times, trying to resolve the situation with a lot of courtesy.
Even so, the solution was not adequate. They brought the same cod with remnants of that off tomato, which still smelled the same. Finally, we asked for the cod to be served with nothing on it, and after a long wait (about 30 minutes), it arrived raw inside. Obviously, we decided not to eat it for health reasons. As a compensation, they did not charge us for the drinks, which is appreciated, but clearly insufficient given what happened.
Regarding the room, the cleanliness was very poor: accumulated dust, dirty surfaces, neglected bathroom, dirty shower screen… there was so much dust inside the fridge that you could write on it. A general sense of total neglect. In addition, the mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows very low.
It is a pity, because the hotel is not old and has potential, but it feels as if there has not been investment in maintenance or quality control for some time.
In short, a very negative experience. We will not return and would not recommend it. However, we would especially like to highlight the excellent service of the restaurant waitress (brunette, slim, with curly hair), whose treatment was impeccable and very professional despite the situation.

Nada más llegar, nos informan de que nuestra habitación tenía dos camas individuales cuando habíamos reservado una cama de matrimonio. La explicación fue que “no había disponibilidad” y que este tipo de cama estaba “bajo petición”. Sin embargo, comprobamos en ese mismo momento en la web del propio hotel que sí había habitaciones con cama doble disponibles para esa misma noche (21 de marzo). Una situación difícil de entender y bastante frustrante.
La experiencia en el restaurante fue aún peor. Pedimos una crema y bacalao. El bacalao venía sobre una base de tomate que estaba claramente en mal estado: el olor era agrio y desagradable. Se lo comunicamos a la camarera, que fue lo mejor de toda la estancia: muy profesional, amable y atenta en todo momento, intentando solucionar la situación con mucha educación.
Aun así, la solución no fue adecuada. Nos trajeron el mismo bacalao con restos de ese tomate en mal estado, que seguía oliendo igual. Finalmente pedimos que nos sirvieran el bacalao sin nada, y tras una larga espera (unos 30 minutos), llegó crudo por dentro. Evidentemente, decidimos no comerlo por motivos de salud. Como compensación, tuvieron el detalle de no cobrarnos las bebidas, algo que se agradece, pero claramente insuficiente ante lo ocurrido.
En cuanto a la habitación, el estado de limpieza era muy deficiente: polvo acumulado, superficies sucias, baño descuidado, mampara sucia… incluso en la nevera había tal cantidad de polvo que se podía escribir sobre ella. Sensación general de dejadez total. Además, los colchones incómodos y las almohadas muy bajas.
Es una pena, porque el hotel no es antiguo y tiene potencial, pero da la sensación de que no se ha invertido en mantenimiento ni en control de calidad desde hace tiempo.
En resumen, una experiencia muy negativa. No volveremos y no lo recomendaríamos. Eso sí, queremos destacar especialmente la excelente atención de la camarera del restaurante (chica morena, delgadita, con el pelo rizado), cuyo trato fue impecable y muy profesional a pesar de la situación.

No entiendo como hay personas que ponen una mala calificación a este hotel. No es un hotel que se encuentre en el centro de Valencia, pero está a 15 o 20 minutos por autovía de Ruzafa, que es el barrio antiguo de la ciudad. Te aconsejo aparcar en el parking del Mercado Central(entramos a la 11h y salinos a las19h y solo pagamos 14€), una vez que bajes al parking, toma por la barrera de la izquierda, la de la derecha es otro mucho mas caro. Aunque ponga que esta ocupado bajar y esperar( al ser un mercado las plazas se desocupan con facilidad) este parking se encuentra situado en pleno centro antiguo, solo salir te encontraras en la Plaza del Mercado y al frente la Lonja de la Seda uno de los edificios mas emblemáticos de Valencia de estilo gótico civil, declarado en 1996 por la UNERCO Patrimonio de la Humanidad (precio de la entrada 3€ domingos GRATIS) y apocas calles la Plaza de la Virgen, con la Basílica de la Patrona y la Catedral.
El Hotel en si es de 10 , por el personal super amable (el lunes teníamos la salida y cuando bajamos habían cerrado por 5 minutos el bufet de desayunos ( por cierto muy extenso y con zumos razonablemente buenos y sin azúcar añadida) y los encargados de recepción, hablaron con el personal del comedor y pudimos coger de todo y nos lo llevamos a una mesa de la cafetería y allí pudimos comer y servirnos el café que necesitamos . El hotel dispone de un cuidado jardín con pista de pádel y una buena piscina climatizada cubierta abierta hasta las 10 de la noche, si es cierto que para ir a la piscina hay que atravesar el jardín pero puedes ir vestido y cambiarte allí (Nosotros lo hicimos en medio de la Tormenta "Oriana" con alerta naranja por vientos) y así aprovechamos ya que hubo actividades que no pudimos realizar por la ALERTA
Hicimos la reserva en PM y la cena es un BUEN MENU servido en mesa y como el domingo libra nuestro restaurante la hicimos en el "Hotel Valencia Congress" que se encuentra a escasos 100m y es de la misma empresa.
La limpieza es BUENA y el aseo con Plato de ducha y mampara de cristal. El suelo de la habitación de tarima flotante, confortables colchones (para mí un poco duros, pero se descansa Bien) buenas Almohadas , sabanas con el confort del algodón, calefacción regulable.
RESUMIEEDO: UN BUEN HOTEL QUE LLEBA MUY BIEN EL PASO SUS 20 AÑOS .
