Key info you should have

Adults Recommended Hotel: Designed for Peace and Relaxation

An Adults Recommended hotel is designed for those looking for a relaxing holiday away from the rush and interruptions, with a peaceful atmosphere, exquisite cuisine and spaces dedicated to wellness, whether travelling as a couple, alone or with friends.

Can families with children stay there?

  • Children are welcome, but the hotel is not designed for them: Unlike an Adults Only hotel, children are allowed to stay. However, the entire hotel experience is designed with adults in mind.

  • No children's facilities: With no kids' club, child-friendly pools, entertainment programmes or children's menus, little ones may not find the fun they're looking for, and the stay may not be entirely comfortable for the whole family.

  • The ideal setting for every holiday: We want every traveller to enjoy their holiday to the fullest. If you're looking for a getaway where children can play, have fun and enjoy facilities designed especially for them, we recommend choosing a 100% family-friendly hotel.

Your perfect stay

Hotel Angela 4*, Seafront Hotel in Fuengirola: Adults-Only Relaxation by the Mediterranean

  • Experience pure Costa del Sol charm in this adults-recommended hotel, ideally located right on Fuengirola’s beachfront. The atmosphere is calm, stylish and designed for total relaxation.

  • Enjoy modern rooms, many with sea views, an outdoor pool, chill-out terrace and a restaurant serving fresh Mediterranean cuisine. Start your day with a rich breakfast before heading out to the beach or exploring the nearby promenade full of cafés, shops and beach bars.

  • Fuengirola offers the perfect balance between leisure and local life: long sandy beaches, traditional chiringuitos, and the warm Andalusian sun.

A perfect getaway for couples and friends seeking comfort, peace and sea views.

Why this destination is a must-visit

The Fuengirola Google doesn’t show you: a guide for travellers, not tourists

Forget tourist office brochures. Fuengirola has a hidden side full of foodie alleyways, secret terraces and free viewpoints that most tourists never discover. If you want an authentic experience and to avoid the typical tourist traps, welcome to the insiders’ club.

  • The free skyline from the Town Hall rooftop: Few people know that Fuengirola Town Hall offers one of the best panoramic views in town and is open to the public. For the pro version, head to the rooftop terrace at Hotel El Puerto. You don’t need to stay there to enjoy a drink with millionaire-style views over the marina and coastline.

  • The hidden alleyways of Moncayo Street (“Hunger Street”): In the centre, there’s an area known as “Calle del Hambre”, a maze of restaurants.

    • Our tip: avoid the places with staff trying to drag you in. The best and cheapest restaurants are hidden in the side streets, where fried anchovy portions are twice as big and half the price.
  • The “Mosque by the beach”: Fuengirola is home to one of the most modern and beautiful mosques on the Costa del Sol: the Sohail Islamic Cultural Centre. Its white architecture against the sea creates a spectacular contrast and it remains a hidden gem for most visitors.

  • The Saturday flea market is for early risers: If you arrive at 11:00 am, you’ll only find overpriced tourist junk. The real treasures, vintage cameras, vinyl records and retro décor, appear from 8:30 am, when local collectors make their best deals.

  • Free dolphin spotting: Many visitors pay for dolphin boat trips.

    • Local secret: walk along the marina breakwater early in the morning or at sunset and you’ll often spot dolphins close to the Fuengirola coast. Bring binoculars and save the boat fare.
  • The low-cost parking trick: Parking in Fuengirola during summer can be expensive and stressful.

    • The insider tip: park at Recinto Ferial, a huge free parking area most days except Tuesdays and Saturdays. The beach is only a 10-minute walk away.
  • Los Boliches and the train: your VIP pass: If you want to visit Marbella or Puerto Banús, skip the car and expensive parking.

    • Expert tip: use the intercity bus. For Málaga city centre, always take the train to Málaga Centro-Alameda station, right next to Calle Larios and without any traffic stress.
  • Jump2spain.com bonus: For the best seafood without beachfront prices, head behind Los Boliches Church. That’s where local fishing families go to eat.

Costa del Sol: Sun, Beaches and Endless Experiences on Spain’s Southern Coast

Costa del Sol is one of Spain’s most iconic holiday destinations, stretching along the sunny southern coast in Andalusia. Known for its year-round mild climate, golden beaches, and vibrant atmosphere, it’s a perfect choice for families and couples looking to combine relaxation, culture, and entertainment all in one trip.

Make sure you visit:

  • Málaga city centre, full of history, museums, and lively streets.
  • Marbella’s Old Town, with its charming whitewashed houses and flower-filled squares.
  • Puerto Banús, famous for luxury yachts, shops, and nightlife.
  • Mijas Pueblo, a picturesque village with stunning coastal views.
  • Nerja and its impressive caves, one of the region’s natural highlights.

Beaches we think you’ll like:

  • Playa de la Malagueta (Málaga): central, lively, and well-equipped.
  • Playa de Cabopino (Marbella): natural dunes and a more relaxed vibe.
  • Playa de Burriana (Nerja): great for families and water sports.
  • Playa de Estepona: quieter and perfect for unwinding.
  • Playa de Fuengirola: long, sandy, and ideal for all ages.

Family-friendly activities:

  • Spend a fun-filled day at Bioparc Fuengirola, a unique zoo experience.
  • Visit Aqualand Torremolinos for slides and pools for all ages.
  • Explore Selwo Aventura in Estepona, a safari-style wildlife park.
  • Take a boat trip along the coast to spot dolphins.
  • Enjoy beachside playgrounds and promenade walks in most towns.

Make sure you try these local delicacies:

  • Espetos de sardinas (grilled sardines on the beach).
  • Gazpacho or salmorejo, refreshing cold tomato soups.
  • Fried fish (“pescaíto frito”), a true Andalusian classic.
  • Paella with fresh seafood by the sea.
  • Churros with chocolate for breakfast or a sweet treat.

Make the most of your visit and go to...

  • Ronda (1h 30min): dramatic cliffs and one of Spain’s most famous bridges.
  • Granada (1h 30min–2h): home to the breathtaking Alhambra palace.
  • Caminito del Rey (1h): a spectacular walkway through a natural gorge.
  • Gibraltar (1h 30min): a unique mix of British and Spanish culture.
  • Córdoba (2h): famous for its Mezquita and historic old town.

Destacaría la ubicación, la atención en recepción , el detalle de dejarnos utilizar las instalaciones el día de salida y darnos una ducha en el spa antes de salir de vuelta.
Las habitaciones son un poco antiguas pero se nota el cuidado sobre ellas

3 Angelines Travelled with couple July 2026 Old and very run-down facilities. They do not match a 4* hotel. 90% of the guests were foreign. The buffet was meagre and lacked variety, even at breakfast. And the food quality was poor.
Instalaciones viejas y muy deterioradas. No corresponden a un hotel de 4*. El 90% de los clientes eran extranjeros. El buffet escaso y con poca variedad, ni el desayuno. Y la calidad de la comida pésima.
Everything needs improvement. The experience was terrible.
