I travelled with my husband and my parents so I booked two rooms. The surprise came at check-in: they gave us one spacious double room with all the comforts you’d expect and pay for, and a tiny single room where you had to enter sideways and even suitcases wouldn’t fit. The patio had damp everywhere and was dirty. When we complained about the difference we were told rooms were assigned at random and couldn’t be changed; only after asking for a complaints form did they move us. Also worth mentioning is the poor buffet: the hotel was full and trays flew off the counter, so you either queued before it opened or missed out, which hadn’t happened on previous stays at this hotel. I think since changing from Fergus to Blue sea it has declined in this regard. It also doesn’t offer transport to the beach, which is quite far away, apart from information about the local bus, so anyone planning to spend time on the beach should know they need to take a car.
Viaje con mi marido y mis padres por lo que reservé dos habitaciones , la sorpresa vino en el check in que nos dieron una habitación doble espaciosa con todas las comodidades que cualquiera busca y paga y otra individual pequeña, tenías que entrar de lado y no entraban ni las maletas , en el patio con humedades por todas partes y falta de limpieza , al reclamar el por qué de tal diferencia nos dijeron que se asignaban asi al azar y no se podía cambiar, solo tras pedir hoja de reclamaciones nos hicieron el cambio. A resaltar también la pobreza del buffet, el hotel estaba lleno y las bandejas volaban por lo que o estaban haciendo fila antes de que abrieran o te quedabas sin comer , cosa que en las otras ocasiones que estuvimos en este hotel no pasaba , creo que al cambiar de Fergus a Blue sea se ha empobrecido en este aspecto. Tampoco ofrece desplazamiento a la playa que se encuentra bastante lejos más que la información del bus urbano así que quién vaya con intención de estar en la playa debe saber que tiene que coger el coche.
