Departure is from the dock of the Rota do Douro company in Vila Nova de Gaia.

The cruise lasts approximately 50 minutes.

Timetables vary according to the season:
- High season (April to September): from 10:00h to 18:30h.
- Low season (October to March): from 10:00h to 16:00h.
- Please note that the cruise may not operate on certain public holidays.

Upon arrival at the hotel, you will receive a ticket giving you access to the cruise. With this ticket, you can go directly to the departure dock at any time during operating hours, there is no need to book a specific time in advance.

Boats depart every 30 minutes. If the cruise is full when you arrive, you will simply board the next available departure.

La habitación es básica pero está bien. La cama me resultó muy cómoda. Hay mucho aparcamiento exterior y cerca hay parada de bus. El crucero bien, muy agradable.
El hotel solo tiene desayuno (el café horrible) y no hay cerca cafeterías. El único restaurante que hay a unos 500 m no nos ha gustado. Está a 4 km de la zona de las bodegas.

No hemos conseguido ir a la cata. El papel impreso con las indicaciones no era muy claro. El Uber nos llevó a otro destino. Tuvimos que pagar una barbaridad para ir de vuelta y al final, no encontrar la bodega. ( información confusa y errónea). Nos confundió todavía más que en parte de la impresión ponía Oporto. En este sentido, fue algo estresante y confuso.

The wine tasting offered does not correspond to a service of the range compared to the rest of the services provided by the agency. It is located far away from the hotel and the bus that is indicated to take to get there creates confusion among customers about the stop where they have to get off and return / the last one very far away/. This creates a great loss of time for the rest of leisure time, even more so if you only have a few days to visit Porto. The tasting itself is not a tasting, it is only a minimal tasting of two wines and it is not even in a winery; the real one is located 100 km away. In order not to disappoint or waste anyone's time, this claim should be removed or replaced by an experience in line with the guidelines of a tasting as indicated by its concept.
La cata de vino que se ofrece no corresponde a un servicio de la categoria respecto al resto de servicios proporcionados por la agencia. Ésta se encuentra muy alejada en relacion al hotel y el bus que se indica que se puede coger para llegar a esta, crea confusion entre los clientes en cuanto a la parada donde se tienen que bajar y regresar / la ultima muy alejada/. Ello crea una gran perdida de tiempo para el resto de tiempo de ocio, mas aun, si solo se dispone de pocos dias de visita a oporto. La cata en sí, no es una cata, solo es una infima degustacion de dos vinos y que ni si quiera se encuentra en una bodega; la real se encuentra a 100 km. Para no decepcionar ni hacer perder el tiempo a nadie, este reclamo deberia ser suprimido o bien, sustituido por una experiencia acorde a las directrices de una cata tal y como indica su concepto.
