Lo más importante del hotel es que las personas que allí trabajan te tratan con amabilidad y mucha cortesía. El animador Armando es un crack. Las habitaciones y la limpieza no está mal.
Es un 4 estrellas con carencias, el mobiliario del comedor viejo y estropeado, casi me caigo con una silla rota y habían varias. El buffet no es nada del otro mundo y peca de pobre y poco surtido. El Spa es bastante normalito y en reparación igual que la terraza panorámica que parece abandonada. Y la ubicación no es muy buena, necesitas coche para desplazarte sino te quieres subir las siete colinas de Roma para llegar. Ponen un vehículo para llevarte a la playa y traerte, eso está bien...pero si quieres pasear o salir de noche está mal ubicado para ir andando. Solo volvería por el personal

Nuestra experiencia en el Sun Palace Albir & Spa ha sido buena en términos generales. La comida y los desayunos nos parecieron muy buenos, variados y con cambios cada día, algo que se agradece mucho. Los camareros fueron súper atentos, agradables y siempre pendientes. También disfrutamos de la piscina y de las actividades. La animadora que llevaba el karaoke y el aquagym era especialmente maja, cercana y agradable. El servicio de limpieza también nos pareció muy bueno. En recepción queremos destacar especialmente a Alyana y Aitor, siempre muy predispuestos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar. El hotel en sí nos ha parecido un cuatro estrellas muy aceptable y hemos estado a gusto. La única pega importante, y por la que probablemente no repetiríamos, es la ubicación. El hotel está bastante alejado de la playa y, sobre todo, en una zona con muchísima cuesta. Desde la playa —que además es de piedras— hay que subir aproximadamente unas diez calles y la pendiente se hace bastante incómoda. El hotel dispone de una furgoneta que lleva y recoge huéspedes de la playa, pero tiene horarios bastante espaciados, aproximadamente cada una o dos horas, y hay que avisar en recepción con una media hora de antelación. El servicio funciona hasta las 22:00. Para nosotros resulta poco práctico y condiciona bastante los desplazamientos. En resumen: buena comida, personal excelente, limpieza, piscina y servicios muy correctos. Una estancia agradable y un hotel recomendable si no os supone un problema la ubicación y las fuertes cuestas.
El mantenimiento . La puerta del baño de la habitación 230 no cierra y no hay gel de baño en las habitaciones.

The pool is nice, but there aren’t enough loungers and the ones that are there are usually occupied with towels almost all day, even though there are signs saying you can’t reserve loungers (I don’t think anyone enforces this). At breakfast you could already see some loungers taken, and when we went there wasn’t even anywhere to leave our clothes. As for the entertainment, apart from two days (a flamenco show and a singer), the entertainer just played music and didn’t interact with the audience, so nobody got up to dance and nobody sang at karaoke… there was a lack of encouragement for people to join in… it was a bit boring.

Fabulous 2.6 Marikilla Travelled with couple August 2026 The hotel is at least two stars too many. It says there is car park but doesn’t mention it’s paid, and they charge a whopping €20 a day even though car park there is awful. They also say there’s a bus to take you to the beach, but it’s actually an eight-people van, so you might get the last slot and end up waiting 30 minutes. The buffet food is mediocre and low quality. There are signs saying you can’t reserve sunbeds and that towels will be removed after 15 minutes, but on the first day we went to the restaurant for a pizza and when we came back our towels had been taken. Fine, those are the rules, but you could then see people leaving a towel and going away for up to an hour with no one removing them. On top of that the pool and sunbed area are tiny for the number of rooms the hotel has — it feels claustrophobic and the photos are misleading. Staff friendliness is virtually non-existent, especially the pool-bar manager who is very rude, and the person who makes the scrambled eggs at breakfast who looks as if you owe them something when you go to take one. The rooms are very old, the bedspreads are from another century — worn and shabby — and the minibar in the room is falling apart and doesn’t work properly.

También dicen que disponen de un autobús para bajarte a la playa y lo que tienen es una furgoneta de 8 plazas por lo que igual te toca en el último turno y te has estado esperando 30 minutos. La comida del buffet justita y de poca calidad. Hay carteles que no se pueden reservar las hamacas que a los 15 minutos te retiraran las toallas, el 1° día fuimos al restaurante a por una pizza y cuando bajamos nos las habían quitado, vale perfecto son las normas, pero luego veías que la gente plantaba la toalla y se iba hasta 1 hora y ahí nadie quitó toallas, encima la piscina y la zona de hamacas es súper pequeña para la cantidad de habitaciones que tiene el hotel, es agobiante las fotos engañan. La amabilidad del personal brilla por su ausencia sobretodo la del encargado del bar de la piscina que es muy borde y del que hace las tortillas francesas en el desayuno que cuando vas a coger una parece que le debes algo. Las habitaciones muy viejas, las colchas de las camas son del siglo pasado, desgastadas y viejas y la nevera de la habitación a parte de caerse a trozos no funciona bien.

Located in the municipality and town of Alfaz del Pi, in the province of Alicante. About 700 metres away is Albir Beach and just over 6km is the city of Benidorm.

The accommodation has 24-hour reception, air conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi, outdoor pool, indoor car park for a fee and buffet restaurant where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has the Ricks Cafeteria and a pool bar (during the summer season).

Lo más importante del hotel es que las personas que allí trabajan te tratan con amabilidad y mucha cortesía. El animador Armando es un crack. Las habitaciones y la limpieza no está mal.
Es un 4 estrellas con carencias, el mobiliario del comedor viejo y estropeado, casi me caigo con una silla rota y habían varias. El buffet no es nada del otro mundo y peca de pobre y poco surtido. El Spa es bastante normalito y en reparación igual que la terraza panorámica que parece abandonada. Y la ubicación no es muy buena, necesitas coche para desplazarte sino te quieres subir las siete colinas de Roma para llegar. Ponen un vehículo para llevarte a la playa y traerte, eso está bien...pero si quieres pasear o salir de noche está mal ubicado para ir andando. Solo volvería por el personal

Nuestra experiencia en el Sun Palace Albir & Spa ha sido buena en términos generales. La comida y los desayunos nos parecieron muy buenos, variados y con cambios cada día, algo que se agradece mucho. Los camareros fueron súper atentos, agradables y siempre pendientes. También disfrutamos de la piscina y de las actividades. La animadora que llevaba el karaoke y el aquagym era especialmente maja, cercana y agradable. El servicio de limpieza también nos pareció muy bueno. En recepción queremos destacar especialmente a Alyana y Aitor, siempre muy predispuestos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar. El hotel en sí nos ha parecido un cuatro estrellas muy aceptable y hemos estado a gusto. La única pega importante, y por la que probablemente no repetiríamos, es la ubicación. El hotel está bastante alejado de la playa y, sobre todo, en una zona con muchísima cuesta. Desde la playa —que además es de piedras— hay que subir aproximadamente unas diez calles y la pendiente se hace bastante incómoda. El hotel dispone de una furgoneta que lleva y recoge huéspedes de la playa, pero tiene horarios bastante espaciados, aproximadamente cada una o dos horas, y hay que avisar en recepción con una media hora de antelación. El servicio funciona hasta las 22:00. Para nosotros resulta poco práctico y condiciona bastante los desplazamientos. En resumen: buena comida, personal excelente, limpieza, piscina y servicios muy correctos. Una estancia agradable y un hotel recomendable si no os supone un problema la ubicación y las fuertes cuestas.
El mantenimiento . La puerta del baño de la habitación 230 no cierra y no hay gel de baño en las habitaciones.

The pool is nice, but there aren’t enough loungers and the ones that are there are usually occupied with towels almost all day, even though there are signs saying you can’t reserve loungers (I don’t think anyone enforces this). At breakfast you could already see some loungers taken, and when we went there wasn’t even anywhere to leave our clothes. As for the entertainment, apart from two days (a flamenco show and a singer), the entertainer just played music and didn’t interact with the audience, so nobody got up to dance and nobody sang at karaoke… there was a lack of encouragement for people to join in… it was a bit boring.

It says there is car park but doesn’t mention it’s paid, and they charge a whopping €20 a day even though car park there is awful. They also say there’s a bus to take you to the beach, but it’s actually an eight-people van, so you might get the last slot and end up waiting 30 minutes. The buffet food is mediocre and low quality. There are signs saying you can’t reserve sunbeds and that towels will be removed after 15 minutes, but on the first day we went to the restaurant for a pizza and when we came back our towels had been taken. Fine, those are the rules, but you could then see people leaving a towel and going away for up to an hour with no one removing them. On top of that the pool and sunbed area are tiny for the number of rooms the hotel has — it feels claustrophobic and the photos are misleading. Staff friendliness is virtually non-existent, especially the pool-bar manager who is very rude, and the person who makes the scrambled eggs at breakfast who looks as if you owe them something when you go to take one. The rooms are very old, the bedspreads are from another century — worn and shabby — and the minibar in the room is falling apart and doesn’t work properly.

También dicen que disponen de un autobús para bajarte a la playa y lo que tienen es una furgoneta de 8 plazas por lo que igual te toca en el último turno y te has estado esperando 30 minutos. La comida del buffet justita y de poca calidad. Hay carteles que no se pueden reservar las hamacas que a los 15 minutos te retiraran las toallas, el 1° día fuimos al restaurante a por una pizza y cuando bajamos nos las habían quitado, vale perfecto son las normas, pero luego veías que la gente plantaba la toalla y se iba hasta 1 hora y ahí nadie quitó toallas, encima la piscina y la zona de hamacas es súper pequeña para la cantidad de habitaciones que tiene el hotel, es agobiante las fotos engañan. La amabilidad del personal brilla por su ausencia sobretodo la del encargado del bar de la piscina que es muy borde y del que hace las tortillas francesas en el desayuno que cuando vas a coger una parece que le debes algo. Las habitaciones muy viejas, las colchas de las camas son del siglo pasado, desgastadas y viejas y la nevera de la habitación a parte de caerse a trozos no funciona bien.
