The Hotel San Carlos 4* is located in the municipality of Roses, in the province of Girona, on the Costa Brava. It is 2.5 km from the center of the town and 2.8 km from the promenade, which will give you access to the beach of the town.

Everything was very good, swimming pools, the food was delicious (quality and quantity), cleanliness, kindness of the waitresses (especially Patri).
Todo ha estado muy bien, piscinas, la comida nos ha encantado (calidad y cantidad), limpieza , amabilidad de las camareras (sobre todo Patri)
There is no refrigerator in the room.

Hotel away from the tourist bustle with an ideal location to visit different cities and towns.
It has a lot of charm, with its rustic decor, the greenery of the pool, the sound of birds and surrounded by nature, it is very cozy. Restaurant with buffet, with variation and food that gives pleasure to eat, and breakfast is until 11h! that really are vacations, not like in most hotel chains that is until 10h.
Lovely staff.
The owner, who knows the region like no one else, has successfully advised us on some visits to do with my 6 year old daughter.
We recommend it without hesitation.
Hotel apartado del bullicio turístico con un emplazamiento ideal para visitar distintas ciudades y pueblos.
Tiene mucho encanto, con su decoración rústica, el verdor de la piscina, el sonido de los pajarillos y rodeado de naturaleza, es muy acogedor. Restaurante con bufet, con variación y comida que da gusto comer,y el horario del desayuno es hasta las 11h! eso sí que son vacaciones, no como en la mayoría de cadenas de hoteles que es hasta las 10h.
Personal encantador.
La propietaria, que conoce como nadie la región, nos ha aconsejado con éxito unas visitas para hacer con mi hija de 6 años.

The facilities and the swimming pool.
Las instalaciones y la piscina.
The decoration of the rooms is very old and with stippled walls. A very old-fashioned hotel for a 4 star hotel. Very old furniture and curtains in the shower.

The horrible food is little, scarce, I made a coffee and put me skim milk was wrong and mf said there was no bad, they are eager to q you eat and go, how much sntrs nothing nice, the schedule, 8 to 1p for dinner and at 9 and almost q or eat are put to clear the table to q you finish and close very uncomfortable dining room situation, the indoor pool closes at 8 co.o go to 7:30 and is already locked ... a shame, no minibar or fridge I do not know where they get the 4 stars I've had ice cream in hotels 2 and 3 better qye this crappy ....
La comida horrible es poco ,escasisima ,me hice un café y al ponerme leche desnatado estaba mal y mf dijeron que no había mal,están deseando q comas y te vayas ,cuanto sntrs nada agradables, el horario ,8 a 1p para cenar y a las 9 ya casi q ni comes se ponen a recoger la mesa para q termines y cerrar comedor muy incómoda la situación, la piscina inerior cierra a las 8 co.o vayas a las 7:30 ya está cerrada con llave...una vergüenza ,no hay minibar ni nevera yo no sé de do de se sacan las 4 estrellas he helado en hoteles de 2 y 3 mejores qye esto cutre ....

IT IS A 2 STAR HOTEL. THE LOCATION IS 2 KM AWAY BUT VERY ACCESSIBLE. GREAT POOL, WITH HARDLY ANY SERVICES. THE BAR AND THE LIGHTS ON THE POOL TERRACE ARE CLOSED AT 11 PM. VERY POOR SERVICE. FOOD VERY SCARCE BUT GOOD. THE BATHTUBS ARE SLIPPERY, NO ANTI-SLIP. NO SAFE.
ES UN HOTEL DE 2 ESTRELLAS. LA UBICACION A 2 KM PERO BIEN ACCESIBLE. PISCINA GENIAL, SIN APENAS SERVICIOS. A LAS 23 H. CIERRAN EL BAR Y LAS LUCES DE LA TERRAZA DE LA PISCINA. EL SERVICIO MUY ESCASO. LA COMIDA MUY ESCASA PERO BUENA. LAS BAÑERAS RESBALAN, NO TIENEN ANTIDESLIZANTE. NO TIENE CAJA FUERTE

las camas cómodas y muy tranquilo
we had breakfast included, the buffet is very scarce and there was hardly anything, the two employees in the dining room instead of attending to the people were talking to each other or playing with their cell phones.

Can't be considered a 4 star hotel at all, at most three stars to be benevolent.
Very very old-fashioned
Breakfast of poor quality and scarce.
Located on the outskirts of Roses, although I already knew that.
On the other hand, Roses is a disappointment as a seaside town.
The only good thing is being close to Cadaques.
Para nada puede considerarse un hotel de 4 estrellas, a lo sumo tres estrellas siendo benevolo

Ubicado muy a las afueras de Roses aunque eso ya lo sabia
Por otra parte roses es una decepción como pueblo costero
