Why are locals called “Llops” (Wolves)? The people of Calella are affectionately known as llops (wolves). According to local legend, many years ago a very large, shaggy dog frightened the townspeople, who believed it was a wolf. A refuge from the Civil War Beneath Dalmau Park lies the Dalmau Park Air-Raid Shelter, built by local residents in 1937 to protect themselves from bombings during the Spanish Civil War. Pet Policy
This accommodation allows pets with the following conditions:
- Pets are allowed in the hotel: from May 22 to September 12, 2026. Outside these dates the hotel does not accept pets.
- Price: from 01/07 to 31/08 16 € per night and pet. For the rest of the dates the price per night and pet is 13 €.
- Maximum weight: No weight limit!
- Please let the accommodation know in advance that you will be travelling with a pet. A maximum of one pet can sleep in each room. Pets are only allowed in the room, except when the cleaning staff is doing their chores. Pets are not allowed in the main areas (reception, dining room, swimming pool, lounge, etc.), only to access the room or to leave the hotel, and must be leashed. The day of check-out you must leave the hotel at 10:00h because pets are not allowed in the main areas.
- The pet may not use the bathroom or the bathtub/shower to relieve itself; and it is not allowed to use hotel towels or sheets for grooming. The pet is not allowed to climb on the beds. In case of an accident with another animal or a person, the hotel will not be held responsible for legal purposes.
Tourism tax
The tourism tax isn't included in the booking price, as it's mandatory to pay this tax directly at the hotel reception. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from this tax.

Los precios del bar de la piscina son asequibles y personal de animación increíble.

Dirty rooms, rock-hard bed, basically no pillows… we had to sleep with three pillows each and even then it wasn’t comfortable. The sink was full of hair, the balcony had plastic cups from previous guests… a viscous brown liquid was outside on the balcony and on the curtain inside — those curtains haven’t been cleaned since the hotel opened… old furniture.
There was beach sand in the pool every day I was there; they don’t clean it. The floor in the children’s pool is super slippery and almost every child falls, some even need medical attention…
The food was very poor. The grill section always had the same meat (burgers, chops); there are long queues because the serving times are too short for so many people. There’s too little staff and they’re overwhelmed… they do quite a lot, but it’s not enough. Desserts left at midday are still there in the evening… on one occasion I found a spoiled langoustine in a fideuá.
I wouldn’t go back.

Habitaciones sucias, cama durísima, almohadas inexistentes… tuvimos que dormir con 3 almohadas cada uno y aún así no se estaba bien. El lavabo lleno de pelos, el balcón con vasos de plástico de huéspedes anteriores… un líquido marrón viscoso que estaba por fuera del balcón y en la cortina por dentro, esas cortinas no se limpian desde que inauguraron el hotel… mobiliario viejo.
En la piscina habia arena de playa todos los días que estuve alli , no limpian, en la piscina infantil el tipo de suelo que hay es súper resbaladizo y todos o casi todos los niños se caen, algunos hasta necesitan revision médica…
La comida muy pobre , sección plancha siempre la misma carne ( hamburguesas, chuletas) se hacen muchas colas porque las ventanas de horario pára comer es muy poco tiempo para tanta gente.. poco personal y van hasta el cuello … bastante hacen… los postres que se quedan al medio día los dejan igual hasta la noche … en una ocasión me encontré una cigala en mal estado en un fideuá.
