Fuengirola is one of Costa del Sol’s top beach resorts, and we’re not surprised as it offers a great combination of your typical holiday attractions and historical visits. So, it offers so much more than just spending your day at your hotel resort or the beach.
If you’re going on holiday with the kids, you’ll be super happy to know that you can go to Costa Water Park. You should also visit Sould Park, which is a funfair that has loads to offer for children of different ages.
Mijas Pueblo (the village) is a short drive from Fuengirola. It’s your typical Andalusian white village, very popular for tourists and from where you can take the most amazing holiday pics!
You can’t go to Fuengirola and not find a day to visit Malaga, the capital of this Spanish Costa. Head to Downtown Malaga (what Spaniards refer to as El Centro). Here you’ll find plenty of museums, galleries, bars and restaurants. Calle Larios is definitely a must-visit if you want to do some shopping during your holiday.
Another place you need to visit during your holiday in Fuengirola is Marbella, a super chic and glamorous beach resort in Costa del Sol where a lot of celebrities love spending their holidays. Plaza de los Naranjos, located in the Old Town, is a super unique square surrounded by Andalusien white houses and building and filled with great restaurants.
