The mystery behind the name (water that isn’t salty)
It’s called Aguadulce because fresh water springs emerge right by the seashore. In the past, sailors took advantage of these natural filtrations from the Sierra de Gádor to refill their drinking water supplies without having to sail far from the coast. -
The “Kilometre Zero” of Spanish tourism
Aguadulce is part of tourism history. In 1964 it was declared the first Centre of National Tourist Interest in Spain. In many ways, the modern sun-and-beach holiday model that we know today began right here. -

- If you book a room with sea view, children will have a surcharge of between 4 and 7 € approximately per night depending on the dates of your booking.
Good to know: Discounts for children apply as long as they sleep in the same room with 2 adults or 2 people paying the adult rate.
- The maximum capacity of the rooms is:
- Travelling with children? The maximum capacity is 2 adults + 2 children or babies per room.

Pet Policy
This accommodation allows pets with the following conditions:

We stayed with only bed and breakfast. Room and hotel is clean. Did not use the pool or other facilities. The breakfast itself is fine
However the breakfast room it is not a Nice place to easy enjoy your breakfast. It is loud and crowded. It is my personal experience that I did not like this. Next time I would book without breakfast.

Lo mejor de todo la ubicación, todo el personal (limpieza, camareros, recepcionistas, animadoras,...). Hay aparcamiento gratuito en los alrededores. Las críticas que hay de los ascensores son exageradas, hay 5 ascensores y en horas punta nosotros no llegamos a esperar ni un minuto. Las críticas que dicen de las piscinas que si el agua está caliente (exageradas también) en verano y con gente si quieren agua fría se tienen que ir al norte y el hotel no te va a meter cubitos de hielo. Las habitaciones con sus terrazas están bien, las camas eran confortables.

The food is almost always the same; they should vary it much more (for example, for an Andalusian-themed dinner they only served prawns and black rice and called it that, when it was missing fried fish, sardines, salmorejo…). On Full Board the only drink included with lunch and dinner is water, which is a bit sad; in my opinion it would be better if a soft drink, beer or wine were also included, and then on the all-inclusive you could have the rest of the drinks whenever you want and until midnight rather than until 11pm.
Estéticamente al hotel le hace falta una remodelación. En los cuartos de baño ya sobra la bañera y requieren por seguridad platos de ducha.
La comida es casi siempre lo mismo, deberían de variar mucho más (por ejemplo en una cena temática de Andalucía solo pusieron gambas y arroz negro para llamarle así, cuando le faltaban pescaito frito, sardinas, salmorejo,....) En la pensión completa en lo que es la comida y cena solo entra de bebida agua un poco triste, en mi opinión lo suyo era que entrase también refresco, cerveza o vino y luego ya en el todo incluido pues tienes el resto de bebidas a las horas que quieras y hasta las 12 de la noche y no hasta las 11.
