The mystery behind the name (water that isn’t salty)
It’s called Aguadulce because fresh water springs emerge right by the seashore. In the past, sailors took advantage of these natural filtrations from the Sierra de Gádor to refill their drinking water supplies without having to sail far from the coast. -
The “Kilometre Zero” of Spanish tourism
Aguadulce is part of tourism history. In 1964 it was declared the first Centre of National Tourist Interest in Spain. In many ways, the modern sun-and-beach holiday model that we know today began right here. -

Thanks to its proximity to Tabernas, Aguadulce, in Almería, became the perfect coastal base for Western film crews. Stars such as Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood and Steven Spielberg stayed here while filming in the desert, seeking the refreshing sea breeze after long days under the intense heat. -

- If you book a room with sea view, children will have a surcharge of between 4 and 7 € approximately per night depending on the dates of your booking.
Good to know: Discounts for children apply as long as they sleep in the same room with 2 adults or 2 people paying the adult rate.
- The maximum capacity of the rooms is:
- Travelling with children? The maximum capacity is 2 adults + 2 children or babies per room.
- Are you all adults? The maximum capacity is 3 adults per room.
- The surcharge for a single room is approximately 19€ per night per room. It may vary depending on the dates of travel and will be applied to the final price of your booking.
Pet Policy
This accommodation allows pets with the following conditions:
- Please note that only dogs are allowed.
- Maximum weight: 10 kg/pet
- Price: 12 €/night and pet + 25 € cleaning fee per complete stay
- The dog may be left alone in the room as long as it behaves appropriately and does not cause damage; otherwise, it may not be left alone or left unleashed in the room.

We stayed with only bed and breakfast. Room and hotel is clean. Did not use the pool or other facilities. The breakfast itself is fine
However the breakfast room it is not a Nice place to easy enjoy your breakfast. It is loud and crowded. It is my personal experience that I did not like this. Next time I would book without breakfast.

Recepción amplia y perfumada, comedor amplio, zonas comunes amplias, personal amable. Una amiga estuvo muy mal del estomago en la última mañana y ler permitieron dejar la habitación una hora después para que ella pudiera tener tiempo para estabilizarse y coger la autopista hasta alicante
Aunque la planta 14 nos brindaba vistas espectaculares, la habitación 1401 hacía mucho tiempo que habia sido limpia porque había polvo en suspensión las dos noches que estuvimos. El dispenser de jabón de manos del lavabo estaba roto, teníamos que usar el de la ducha siempre que queríamos lavar laa manos, la tapa del cubo de basura del aseo estaba sucia, la bañera perdia un poco de agua, había una luz verde de emergencia muy fuerte que iluminaba toda la habitación por la noche (tuvimos que poner dos papeles, enganchar dos toallas y aún así como no había llevado el antifaz me tuve que tapar el ojo con una camiseta), las puertas de las habitaciones del pasillo solo se cerraban con portazos.
