About the accommodation
The Hotel Dunas Mirador Maspalomas 3* is located in the tourist resort of Maspalomas, south of Gran Canaria, one of the islands of the Canary archipelago.
The accommodation has a 24-hour reception, so that they can help you whenever you need it, as well as free wifi connection. In addition, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to Maspalomas Beach (subject to availability).
In the summer season you can unwind by sunbathing and taking a dip in the two outdoor pools. They also have a children's pool with a pirate ship, so that children have a great time ;)
The rooms have free wifi connection, television, telephone, safe (for a fee), desk and a fully equipped bathroom with shower or bathtub and hairdryer.
If you want to take advantage of your holiday to have a massage, you can do so at the hotel, although you must contact the reception to book (at an additional cost). Meloneras beach is 3.4 km away by car and Maspalomas beach is 4 km away by car. Anyway, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the latter, great!

The food was delicious and varied. The terrace we had was bigger than the normal ones and had sea views. In the attic. With privacy and two sun loungers on the terrace.
La comida estaba rica y variada. La terraza que nos tocó era mas grande que las normales y tenía vistas al mar. En el ático. Con intimidad y dos tumbonas en la terraza.
The cocktails are of a low quality alcohol. The machine ice cream didn't taste as good as it should. And the treatment of some waiter at the pool bar. Others very good.
Los cócteles son de un alcohol de baja calidad. Los helados de máquina no sabían todo lo bien que debería. Y el trato de algun camarero en el bar de la piscina. Otros muy bien.

The transfer service to the hotel was wonderful. The hotel room was incredible, with a huge terrace and beautiful views.
El servicio de traslados al hotel fue una maravilla. La habitación del hotel era increible, con una terraza inmensa y unas vistas preciosas.
The cleanliness of the rooms was a bit scarce and the schedules published by the hotel did not correspond to reality. Regarding the return flight... the staff who attended us on the island at the time of boarding had a lousy attitude.
La limpieza de las habitacion un tanto escasa y los horarios publicados por el hotel no se correspondian con la realidad. Respecto al vuelo de vuelta... el personal que nos atendió en la isla en el momento de embarcar tenia una actitud pésima.

I really liked the treatment of the staff, the attention, the cleaning service, the food, the facilities and the location of the hotel.
Me ha gustado mucho el trato del personal, la atencion, el servicio de limpieza, la comida, las instalciones y la ubicacion del hotel.
My complaint is that given the high temperatures that makes should condition the rooms and the dining room with air conditioning since there are days that is hot, on the other hand the hotel should not forget that the Spanish also travel and all the animation of the hotel that is focused on English does not seem fair, (we are in Spain ???????????) ls hammocks in the pool should also organize them in a better way so that everyone had that service.
Mi queja es que dadas las altas temperaturas que hace deberian acondicionar las habitaciones y el comedor con aire acondicionado puesto que hay dias que se pasa calor, por otra parte el hotel no deberia de olvidar que los españoles tambien viajamos y toda la animacion del hotel que este enfocado en ingles no me parece justo, ( estamos en españa???????????) ls hamacas de la piscina tambien deberian de organizarlas de mejor manera para que todos tuvieran ese servicio.

Good value for money. Buffet varied.buena atencióndel staff.limpieza rooms good. Free transport to the beach fast and good frequencies. It was hot and they put a penguin in the room.

Overcrowding in the pool, at 9 a.m. people came down and occupied practically all the loungers, although half the day there was no one there.

No air conditioning in the rooms except for a portable one which was not enough...we were very hot. except for Yaiza the chambermaid who did her job excellently...the other cleaning girls were very irregular.

The hotel did not have air conditioning in its common facilities and, with the heat wave and 44°, it was unbearable to wait. There was no offer to use the swimming pool or any alternative.
El hotel no disponía de aire acondicionado en sus instalaciones comunes y, con la ola de calor y 44°, era insoportable la espera. No se ofreció poder usar la piscina o alguna alternativa.
